Our own little Boba Fett is growing up, and we need to sit him down and have a talk.

I was watching ROTJ on Spike the other day and noticed the SE scene with the ladies all up on Boba Fett and it kinda raised an eyebrow.

When did Boba become a ladies man? Kinda strange for a guy who rarely talks and wears a helmet and full body armor 24/7. Remember, this is a guy who grew up pretty much alone on Kamino. He didn't have a mother, didn't really have any friends, didn't go to school, he never had a school dance. When did he learn to socialize? Hanging out with Taun We? His "dad" was beheaded before his eyes pretty much at the onset of puberty. After that he was pretty much on his own. That's a pretty messed up childhood, and I would expect a messed up person to come out of it.

So, did Jango give Boba the birds and the bees talk before he lost his head? Or did Aurra give him some "private lessons" ? Guys, can I get a "nice" ?

Who taught him how to shave?

Did he start wearing the helmet to hide his terrible acne?

I wasn't around when the episodes aired, so I was wondering what you guys thought of Boba running a squad of bounty hunters in the galaxy at like 13 years old (or whatever).

In the EU, Boba gets married and has a kid a few years after the Clone Wars, around 16 BBY I think, but I doubt the people at TCW care about that. (especially with their views on Boba and the Mandos)

For srs, Boba's growing up fast. I think it would be a great topic to really dive into in TCW (the first Boba arc was garbage) and maybe extend it into the Live Action show, if it ever happens.

Oh, and how about Fettsoka? Fan art, get on it. Make me cringe.

Fett as a ladies man in ROTJ is one of many great reasons why Lucas should stop trying to retroactively improve his films. Definitive vision my shebs.

As for that episode, I really liked Boba except for when he spoke. The writers need to learn that less is more with him. He needs to be strong and silent, even at 13.

    "Fettsoka"?

Meh, I've seen a lot worse. And I mean a lot.

I don't recommend asking for CP though.

A personal fan hope I had was that a hard-nosed Concord Dawn Journeyman Protector takes Boba under his/her wing during the Clone Wars, instilling some discipline in the kid. Boba then matures, meets Sintas Vel and the rest is history.

I think TCW is going for something similar with Cad Bane, who is more professional and lacks Aurra Sing's anti-Jedi vendetta. I predict that Boba is ultimately the one who kills Bane (in his sleep).

Sounds like Boba Fett needs to become Ezio Auditore.

    Really? [face_devil]

As far as the ladies-man goes, power and success can make a man attractive, I guess.

Personally, I thought it was ridiculous that Boba was suddenly leading this gang and Bossk was referring to him as 'boss'. I guess we could try and explain this by theorizing how Boba, being Jango's clone and all, inherited his father's allegiances, wealth, resources, etc. But honestly I'm getting fed up with the series letting the real development happen off-screen.

In the light of the whole Maul disaster I'm not losing any sleep over it, but it's definitely a hat-trick.

I'm not sure if this is suppose to be how he got to the position we saw him in last but I'll buy this explanation. However, as 5309 mentions, what about his education? Street smarts is one thing but without a standardized education Boba will be an idiot, and what Jango left for him, if that's the official rationality, can be squandered pretty easily by poor investment and/or theft. In fact, I think we can count the number of times a form of schooling was mentioned in SW on one hand, can't we? So Boba inherited all this wealth and resources from Jango, that simply means he can hire a team of bounty hunters, but to go with them on a job and have their client take him seriously? I don't consider either to be logical. I'm with QFET, I hope he somehow gets involved with a Journeymen Protector and goes from there. TPTB are trying too hard to tie in TCW with the OT bounty hunters together and it's just not working out well IMHO.

I would have figured the fairly large job Boba pulled off with Aurra Sing would have helped. I mean the kid played a major part in attempting to assasinate a Jedi master, blowing up a star destroyer, murdering the crew, kidnapping military officers, and ransom. Which I imagine is how he ended up in the adult prison. If all that won't get whatever the republic's definition of a minor is charged as an adult then I don't know what will. That coupled with the money and the name sounds like what could have gotten him the job leading. Its also possible that inexperienced young Boba is once again getting used by other bounty hunters in his group for his resources. He still lacks alot of mental maturity. I love when Ventress puts Boba in his place and sets him up in "Bounty". Its easy for me to imagine given how much that prison in the Rako Hardeen arc sucked at security, there are inside jobs running gangs on the outside. Possibly including coalitions of bounty hunters. I can see Boba and maybe Bossk (using him) doing that.

Boba need not be a badass at 13.

I did like the episode Bounty, but at the same time I thought it was a bit much that bounty hunters with far more experience were taking orders from him, and that he was able to hold his own in hand to hand combat when more physically imposing characters like Bossk (especially Bossk) could not.

Like in AOTC when he turns the guns of Slave 1 on Obi-Wan, or in Season 2 when he's setting traps, that's plenty IMO as far as his contributions go. I think Bossk should have taken over the adoptive parent position in Aurra's absence, and Boba should still be learning.

I still figure the natural progression of things will be for Boba to somehow fall in with Death Watch. Boba and Bossk have to have a falling out/become rivals eventually (unless ESB gets retconned so that they're still working together).

    xD I wouldn't doubt it..

We've already seen Ventress's tending toward clones in the past.. TCW and otherwise..

Alpha was raw beefcake and Colt was the very model of a modern major general.

Boba is... eh, statutory rape. [face_plain]

Lol... yeah I can see this. I could see Boba having a crush on Ventress like a student crushes on a teacher.
