A Charon novel would work better in that regard, as they literally have undead space ships and create weird Mutant Zombie minions. I personally still think we really new a Short story collection set during the NJO. Emissary of the Void, Recovery, and Ylesia where great short stories, and even The Apprentice and Or Die Trying where fun reads. Just get a handful authors together to write a handful other NJO short stories, you can even include a big one written in cooperation by two authors like Sidetrip and Interlude at Darkknell where.
What stories would I like to see told: The Mara/Mirax adventure that was hinted at way back in the Dark Tide books. Luke/Mara novel. I'm not sure when this one would take place but it doesn't matter because I can never get enough L/M. I still want the Blood Oath replacement about what Zek was up to between LotF and FotJ. A Ben Skywalker book. A book where Ben is an actual character and not a useless lovesick sidekick glued to Daddy's side. I think I would like it to be a mystery taking place in the Unkown regions. A Kol Skywalker book. A sequel to Riptide.
I really want for the next stories : - A Darth Ruin book : he is such an important character, he needs a story. But since he gathered Sith tribes from all over the galaxy, we may need to see the end of Old Republic to know the fate of the siths from the ressurgent Sith Empire after its disintegration. - Knight Errant II : although I prefer comics, the first Knight Errant was so well-written that it won't bother me to read another one. - A Darth Zannah/Cognus book as well as a Cognus/Millenial book : I liked the Bane trilogy and I really want to learn more about Cognus and Millenial. Especially Millenial actually. On the whole, I'm very interested about founders of new darkside orders such as : Ajunta Pall, Vitiate, Ruin, Bane, Krayt. - A book describing the birth of Felpire and his Imperial Knight. - A book about Soa, the Infernal One : he only appeared on Old Republic but he said he ruled over Korriban around 23,641 BBY and seemed to be really powerful. - A book about Darth Simi : we had quite a good description of her. She is quite impressive as she lived for thousands of years! I really want to know about her, and from which era she came.

So there's hope... @DarthZeal: Funny how I barely know or remember half of all the Darths you mentioned... guess I've got a lot to catch up on in that department. Anyway I think a series of Darth books stretching all the way from Bane to Plagueis will definitely be in order someday.
I have to add my vote to reading some type of some zombie/ horror story set in the NJO. I do know that that the Knightfall trilogy was supposed to be pretty dark. I also wish that they would create some more Tales of anthologies. Most specifically stories of the New Jedi Order and the during the Vong War. I want to see new Jedi on missions all over the galaxy New Republic era onwards. I'm a couple chapters into Scourge right now and I like it a lot. More stories from common people during the NJO as well would be nice. I also want to see more of the Ryn Network. The Force Heretic trilogy gave that group so much potential but that has been wasted since. I also want to see Jae Juun and Tarfang again. I liked them in DNT and LOTF. I would also like a JA, JQ, JJk, and YJK type story arc for Ben, Allana, Valin, Jysella (I think her name is) and some other up and coming Jedi. Maybe the Jedi could create something akin to the Chu'unthor and have Jedi traveling the galaxy to try to fix people's problems and end disputes
NOOOOOOOOO Oh you know, most of the Darth are not worthy of a book. 90% of The Darth from the Old Republic for instance have no significance such as Darth Jaga, Darth Enraj or Darth Kallous if we want to name them. There is no need to write a book about the 30 Sith lords from Bane to Sidious, but Millenial is very important as he founded the Prophets of the Darkside and established himself on a particular planet : Dromund Kaas! So I think it is very relevant to know about him. Same thing about Darth Ruin who ignited the New Sith Wars which lasted one millenium!! As for Darth Simi, she appeared only in one support, Star Wars : Visions, http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Simi but is clearly described and got a picture, which is a lot for a mere Sith. That's why I want to see her in the next projects.
I wish we got an Anakin solo novel. Yes i know he is dead, but a book set before his death would be good.
Apparently Aaron Allston once pitched the idea of a book that deals with Han Solo coming to terms with marrying a woman so far above his social standing. I'd love to see a character study piece like that.

I smell soap, in a good way Coming back to the Droid Revolution idea, I just read the age-old comic "Rust Never Sleeps", scripted by Alan Moore and collected in Devilworlds 2 -- which implies the existence of a planet-wide vengeful droid intelligence on the scrapyard planet of Ronyard, worshiped by the few surviving droids there as a droid god... and capable of wrecking a Star Destroyer plus crew by firing nuts and bolts, apparently. Another plot hook for the Droid Revolution... really I don't see how this can NOT happen at some point in the future.
-A series following Twin Suns Squadron after the NJO would be cool. Make it the new Rogue and Wraith Squadron series. I sort of wish that the post NJO series had continued with Jaina in charge of that. Maybe if they ever fill in the gap between TUF and DNT that could happen. -An Indiana Jones type story where a smuggler has to get an ancient artifact would be interesting as well. -I wonder if they will re-release The Approaching Storm for the AOTC 3-D release, Labyrinth of Evil for Episode 3, no idea for Episode 4, Splinter of the Mind's Eye for Episode 5, and Shadows of the Empire for Episode 6? -The Hutts or Black Sun could take over the galaxy. The Hutts were a dominant power before the Old Republic, so why not have them try to take over the galaxy again in the future? Black Sun has not so an attempt by them would be cool. -A trilogy following Boba Fett during the Dark Times, bounty hunting. People are probably sick of Boba Fett but I wouldn't mind another trilogy of him just hunting people. I know about that comic series that is out right now but I haven't kept an eye on it. -What if one of Yoda's species went dark and took over the galaxy? Another sith yes but years maybe centuries if not millennia down the road. -A reverse of the KOTOR comic series perhaps? Sith Masters kill Sith Apprentices because they have a vision one of them will turn to the light and destroy the Sith order -Rogue Chiss Warlord tries to take over the Chiss Ascendancy -Alliance of Evil-Ssi Ruuk, Hutts, Trandoshans, Rogue Chiss, and whomever else team up to wreck havoc on the Galaxy
