  1. AirNeeva Jedi Padawan

I'll be writing Fanfiction about Ta'a Chume (like ceiranharmony mentioned) after the boards moved. For now...

*Teneniel Djo's early life on Dathomir
*Isolder and his part after the Kalen incident
    *Lady Elliar
*Breha and who exactly was she
  2. Rew Jedi Master

    Star by Star: Infinities.
    Spoiler: Anakin Solo lives.

Another idea: The Jedi Queen Ascension series (i.e. Allana Solo trilogy), set 10-15 years post-FotJ, preferably authored by Luceno.

Similarly, we need a Princess Leia Trilogy by Crispin already.

Who else could it be... but the animal adventurers from S.P.A.C.E?!
  5. mbruno Jedi Knight

Darth Shmi? I guess Anakin's mother was hiding something. LOL.
  6. Ausstig Jedi Knight

"The Secret History of the Star Cabal"

They just seemed so interesting and it would be a different look at the Star Wars galaxy
  7. DuracellEnergizer Jedi Knight

A novel that officially retcons the post-1999 EU as being a series of in-universe holodramas that are ridiculed across the New Republic for how poorly researched, written, and directed they are. :p

I want a pre-TPM Old Republic naval adventure series, in the style of age of sail naval adventures. A young, aristocratic, bold, ambitious officer commanding a ship patrolling the Outer Rim, having adventures and bringing civilization and climbing the ladder. The name of our intrepid hero? Wilhuff Tarkin.

In future post-FOTJ novels, I'd love Jaina and her generation to bear more of the plot burden. That's not to say that the Big Three and their generation are to take a backseat, (I still think they have a lot to offer and I am interested to focus on Leia and her growing role in the Order, for example) I just think Jaina and the others need to be driving for a while. We've got some fabulous characters in Tahiri, Zekk, Lowie, Tesar, Raynar, Jag, the Zels, Finn Galfridian, Tekli, etc and I think its time we utilise them to the fullest not just have them supporting the older characters.

I also think that with the One Sith potentially appearing in more novels now (especially since Vestara is with them now), its high time to reveal that White Eyes is Cronal. How this would fit in with his role as a Sorcerer of Rhand, I dunno, that's up to the authors (maybe he is playing them for dupes or using them as agents of the Way of the Dark?), but the way White Eyes was written in his appearances all but convinces me he is Cronal.

*A novel/s dealing with the Fel family telling their story. From Soontir and Syal's courtship all the way through to thei current activities in the Legacy Era.
*Political thriller detailing the destruction of Caamas.
    *Jacen Solo's Force odyssey novel.
*Jaina Solo novel detailing her activities between NJO and DN.
*Some more novels detailing non Skywalker/Solo members of the Order, like Scourge of Kemp's Jaden titles. I'd buy a story about the Azur-Jamin family. I mean, if we're going to novelise Tempest Feud into Scourge, why not novelise parts of the Dark Forces Saga as well. Vongerella demands it!!
*Orinda campaign. Ackbar V Pelly plz.
    *Alsakan Conflicts.

    This would be great!
    Agree with all of these!

I'd really like to see a book about Luke and really getting into his character after FOTJ
  12. Boba Fett Jedi Padawan

I'd like some more Horror novels, it doesn't have to be zombies though.

A Boba Fett novel, set during the Rise of the Empire, with him just being a Bounty Hunter and going after bounties.
  13. Erich Jedi Knight

As far as more horror novels go, frankly, that's one novel genre I would like not to see in the future. I barely made it through Deathtroopers without losing my dinner. Red Harvest wasn't as bad, but I'm not willing to risk "the third time's the charm" belief.

I'm fairly certain there's a sequel to Riptide in the works. Kemp's duology seems open-eneded as it is.

I'm definitely in favor of a Mara/Mirax novel. When those two get together, I can Corran and Luke shudder as their wish that those two never meet evaporate into the mists. They then go to the nearest cantina and get drunk on Whyren's reserve and lomin ale to drown out the forthcoming headache.

I know they said that the Escape from Dagu, Blood Oath, Imperial Commando 2, and the NJO/LOTF Boba Fett novel were cancelled, but they said the same thing about Darth Plagueis. And the last title did come out. So there's a slim chance those novels might make a comeback as well.

A novel dealing with the Sith Lords of Bane's Order. We already have some history of Zannah and the beginning of Cognus. Now let's go from there. We have a short story of Cognus' training, one of her ascension to Master, one of her finding an apprentice/apprentices. We then get to her apprentice - a story of the apprentice's training, becoming a Master, and then finding an apprentice. Have an anthology of these short stories for each of the Sith Lords up to and including Darth Tenebrous and Darth Venemis, and you'll have a winner.

I merged this post with the previous one.
  15. Zeta1127 Jedi Grand Master

We know some things about Cognus and Millennial and the schism that created the Prophets of the Dark Side on Dromund Kaas, but not Cognus's Banite apprentice, from Darth Plagueis.

I'd like a book between TUF and DNT about Luke and Mara and Han and Leia and what they did on that vacation and their ruminations on the aftermath of that invasion that was glossed over. Give Ben proper introduction and see them his parents AS parents for the first time when they are not under siege the whole time. Throw in some Karrde and Shada and Lando and Tendra too. Doesn't DR get that we love these people and want to read about them?

Also, What happened to the YV and Danni Quee and Sekot. Where did they go and what happened, for them to be blatantly absent after FOTJ.
  17. jedimasterkenobi02 Jedi Master

    Love this idea!

I want more crack teams! That's one of the reasons why I'm really excited about Scoundrels, because Zahn is great at making up or using interesting species and cultures and then really making use of their peculiarities in the story. The EU could use more of that -- like, say, a SpecOps team that has a Givin, a B'omarr monk (or someone in a B'omarr spider's body) and a floating squid like that one in it. I'd really appreciate that. [face_alien]

But then, we're also getting Mercy Kill... and Allston has been known to do funny things with weird species, too.

While I'd love to see that, I think that would be difficult because, given the seclusion of Dathomir, it probably wouldn't have much of a Star Wars feel to it. It would come off much more like a non sci-fi fantasy novel since the witches are more like, well, witches of fantasy than normal Force users. Provided it was only a little bit before the events of Courtship Imperial forces would be there, of course, but how much exposure would she have to them, anyway?

    Anyway....

I'd love to see a novel or set of novels about Rebel grunts... not a small team of Republic Commandos, not the most elite fighter squadron in the galaxy, and not a small band of rogue stormtroopers, (the latter two of which I love, by the way), but just a unit of Rebel infantry in battles, like at Hoth (see my avatar). Very little love in the Star Wars universe for the backbone of any military organization.

As for something more realistic, Knight Errant II would be extremely appreciated. :)

So... like JJM's upcoming Lost Tribe of the Sith comic series?

Totally second your wish for Rebel grunt stories though. Something like the first Republic Commando book for the GCW would be awesome. Also I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for a Page's Commandos novel (though that's kind of elite again, I know).
