Lit citation that Infinities = non-canon?

    Not even calling it "canon" is reasonable to me, haha. I'm not the one debating whether or not it's canon, it's the idiot on another forum I frequent.

    Interestingly, Wookieepedia refers to Infinities as "non-canon" but doesn't cite where that distinction comes from. Although it does mention that the Holocron Continuity Database has the Non-canon distinction "N" for certain things, but also doesn't cite where those distinctions come from.
    I mean I'm not debating the distinctions, I always just took them at face-value. But this guy is looking for some sort of citations because he's anal-retentive, haha.

    Didn't Gamer have an article explaining the different era symbols, Infinities included? I'm positive I've seen that article; I clearly remember the art and design.

    Leland Chee had a blog post explaining the eras and infinities, here. He explicitly says infinities "fall outside of continuity."
