I will ask her to come by and post Sabine. We moved into a big house about 18 months ago Sabine and all I do now is clean and vacuum...
Waw, it's strange how everybody has moved on with their lives but still keeps posting here! ^^ Morgaine, you know, ever since the move I've been wondering which spot in the squadron I had. Can't even remember if it was on the Rogue or on the Wraith squadron That thread was fun. I miss sushibeer! Greetings and welcome, earlybird! It's always nice to meet someone new!
Mike: Sounds fun... Twinnie, I've been wondering the same... glad to hear I'm not the only one who can't remember much of the old boards already. I think I might've been Ace Leader? (Has anyone seen Wolverine lately? I miss my wingman! ) Ohhhh... Sushibeer! Obi Anne, I hope you remembered to pack a few bottles before the move? Actually, I completely moved away from the JC for several years. Got rather busy with university and stuff and the boards kinda fell off my radar. But once I settled into my job and found myself with a bit more free time again... well, something pulled me back, it seems. And apparently I'm not the only one.
That would be awesome!! You mean, I should regret that we signed a contract for a bigger home? I really hope that I don't have to do cleaning and vacuuming all day long. All day long = the rest of the day after I came back from work and before I get some rest.
Hi, Twinnie! Long time, no see . Yeah, it's funny but JC has been one constant in life even though I have moved a number of times since I first registered on the boards.
This really is a reunion thread! (but new people are welcome as well) Not all bottles of sushibeer were moved to the new permanent forum, I have a couple with me here. And I'm pretty sure that I retired from the Rogue Squadron as Rogue Commander, so at least that's easy to remember.
The boards have a strong magnetic pull... you may be able to escape it for a while, but it always pulls you back. Having met my hubby through these boards - I don't think I'll ever leave.
Coming back after a six-year absence, I guess I would share that impression ^^ Darth Real Life never wins, he only achieves temporary success
ObiAnne, of course you were Rogue Leader, it's a well-known fact that you rule! (ok, worst pun ever. Good thing I have no shame ) Emilsson, I read that you moved, yeah! Lucky you, you must have so much fun in London! I'm still in France, though I changed cities, flats and boyfriends a few times since I registered in 2000. In the middle of changing flats again, actually, And once more looking for Mr. Right (he is hiding well). Anyway, enough real life stuff! *starts the oven and gets out the ingredients to prepare the muffins to go with the sushibeers*
Hi Ceillean ! (so many memories coming back seeing all of you still here ! ) No less stuck in France than sister Twinnie, only I still live in the same old city. Somehow I'm now 11 years older than I was upon registering 11 years ago. I can't begin to fathom why Still a dedicated bachelor (don't laugh ), but I did make some progress: I'm no longer getting paid for shouting after other people's teenage children all day
Twinnie, I don't know about fun. Lately all I do sems to be work, then again I am enjoying work for once. Ah, sushi beer! *starts preparing more*
Yes, this. That's exactly my experience as well. Great seeing you too. It's best not to think how much we've all aged since we first met, isn't it? //edit: dammit, you write "don't laugh" and what do I do? Post that smiley. Wasn't referring to that! (I'm a dedicated bachelor myself... or whatever the female version of that might be called.) Ohh... muffins! A colleague of mine had a birthday today and brought homemade to the office... yummy!
Morgaine, we need to talk! I'll second that First real holiday since August begins tonight... and ends on Tuesday morning I tend to think that until I remember all of my RL-friends are 10 to 40 years older than me
Holiday? Such luxury! On the other hand I do get Saturday and Sunday off during which I shall plan new strategies to teach my padawans more about the ways of the Force.
Oh my goodness, what happened to that "evil" smiley? That animation looks ridiculous and even less evil than it used to! Ohhh, should I be afraid now? I've got four days off now, too - four days of sleeping in, so wonderful.
Jedi teachings? Bleargh Send them over here, they need corruption pronto! Mograine: Let me think... I remember some greenie saying fear led to something great, so yes, you should be afraid (When not sleeping-in... ^^ Ah, the heavenly pleasures of lingering in bed...) (... until one of my cats mewls for whatever random reason ) (That evil smiley really is weird).
