I don't see why Hawk Ryo would shoot the ship down. Plus, his ship doesn't seem to be in the area yet. And is it just me, or is it weird that Xesh can speak the same language as the Je'daii? That, along with the Rakata speaking the same language as the Tatooine natives in the previous issue, are the biggest of the series so far. I hope it's addressed.
Yeah, I like that the proto-Jedi have a history of experimenting with life, too, and that the Exiles' sin was a return to a practice that had been explored and condemned, not just trying something new and creepy.
Loved the new issue. Although I would actually like to see a... err... Sith... Jedi... that actually um... stays a Sith Jedi and doesn't become a Sith Sith? Gosh, this is confusing. But yeah, Seknos is definitely a rebel (and I found his female fan possee both highly amusing and mildly out of place), but I hope he doesn't actually fall. I like seeing the added diversity in the race.
U mean a Dark Jedi or a Grey Jedi? Dark is basically like a Sith without following or having the Sith training and ideology. Grey is basically someone who straddles the line between Dark and Light without actually falling. Honestly, reminds me of Cade but without a tragic past or being a druggie.
I thought he looked like Riddick. Really enjoying the diversity in the cast and weapons. Swords and slugthrowers, very nice.
Has the series been good so far? I'm not a huge fan of the comics (although I enjoyed Legacy and Knights) and already have catching up to do with Knight Errant and Invasion so unless Dawn has been very good/excellent I think I may wait to start it for a while - I'm also considering starting Agent of the Empire.
We've seen the two main Rakata warlords (Predor Tul'kar and Predor Skal'nas) have a very tense relationship. Perhaps infighting between the Rakata broke out after entering the Tython system, over who would have the rights to claim which things? I don't see the Je'daii attacking first, especially since this is the first ship to ever enter the Tython system since the Tho Yor.
Hmm that as well. This Creative Team always embarrasses the rest of the EU in Diversity. Honestly, In better world this would be minimum or average diversity and not such a major outlier in the plus direction. Although yeah the weapons not all being blasers and some rocket launchers and lightsabers is fun.
Cool second issue, and now the main characters have been summoned by Force visions. Talk about a bad first contact, but then the Rakata aren't really nice either. Sek'nos seems like a show-off, but nice to find out the Je'daii aren't big on Force lightning as its a pure dark skill, although while its discouraged it only warrants a scolding so far. Funny to see him sorta showing off for the girls. Hope he doesn't end up falling, not like we don't have enough evil (red) Sith already, although the danger signs are already there. That glimpse of Bogan was cool too. Now to see how badly the fight next issue will be.
They will probably get owned for the most part since they don't seem like a well oiled machine well at least the girls don't seem to like each other. Sek'nos seems to like all girls.
If there would be infighting between the two we would see it in the comic and it would be the B plot. Admit it,your theory is dead.
