I've been called many things in my time in the Senate, but never a Jedi Youngling. Ad hominem insult - against Senate rules - Ban Ki Lowbacca, ban whoever did that!
I remember a Star Wars fan forum from way back, around the turn of the century, that used designations like this as well. Forgot the name. They're gone... banned themselves, I guess. That's class.
Help me here. If we are exporting more oil than ever before(or exporting more than we have in decades or whatever) why not stop exporting it and use it here so prices are driven down?
I guess that sounds better. I don't know why turn of the millennium seems different. Because that's not how oil prices work.
We're exporting more gasoline, not crude. Gasoline prices are a function of the crude oil price, which we still need to import.
This has me seriously worried! American universities should not be forced to give up their exhibition pieces for political purposes. Why are American universities being held accountable for the actions of the government of Iran? As far as I know, these artifacts have always belonged to the universities and museums in question. They were never the property of Iran to begin with, so why must American institutions give away their own property for something the Iranian government has done?
By the way, I forgot to mention that there's a form there to mail your local senators to persuade them to vote against this bill, or to at least put in provisions to exempt historical artifacts. While text for the letter is pre-written, the box is editable so you can change the text if you so wish, and you are in fact encouraged to do so.
