    I'd like to have a Luceno book on Dooku, but he'll probably want to take a little break after Plagueis.

    Maybe an old author, like Walter Jon Williams or Kathy Tyers, is coming back?

    Based on that interview they did with Troy Denning, it is safe to say that the announcement isn't any series post-Legacy, as he was very clear that he didn't know if and when the novels would get to that period.

    Hell, I would be stoked if they decided to continue the X-wing series past Mercy Kill. If they are going to give the main characters some time to "breath", what better way to keep the era moving and fleshing out a supporting cast than issuing more X-wing books?

    Think about. We have no idea about who leads (or who is in, for that matter) Rogue Squadron in this period. We need the GADF's command hierarchy fleshed out. We need stories that allow use of hotshot young Jedi pilots, up an coming politicians, scoundrels, smugglers, and soliders.

    No series does all of this better than X-wing. Stackpole needs to return to the EU. He is sorely missed.
