    Well that was a little disappointing. The big announcement is that we another one word title and a cover to a book we already knew was coming out?
    Also, I'm a little displeased that Lando is in the book because his role in Rebel Dawn fit well with ESB. Oh well, I'm sure Zahn can still make it work.

    I have to say as much as the cover looks good, I agree with you, I was fine with the last time Han saw Lando was the Ylesia incident... there is no reason for him to cross pasths again until Bespin... After all, it was a long time ago, not so long if its post Yavin

    I'll admit, I was hoping for a bigger announcement, but this works. And as I said earlier, Yavin Vasilika took place during Rebel Dawn sometime after the Battle of Ylesia, and Lando was in both.

    The main problem I have with this is, unfortunately, the author. As much as I love early-Zahn; later-Zahn seems (to me, at least) to be "how much can I have my OCs affect the GCW-era and beyond?" Choices of One (IIRC), in particular, was galling in this regard...

    So I am worried for who will be involved with early-Rebellion Era Han (Thrawn, Karrde, Mara... the possibilities are endless and horrifying)...

    It's a comic that's a sort of MacGuffin hunt including Han, Lando, Chewie, and a bunch of bounty hunters. It was written a few years after Rebel Dawn and alludes to some of those events. For instance, Lando holds a grudge against Han most of the time because of the Ylesia incident. Here's the wook page.

    Still wary of Lando's involvement, and Zahn's OC obsession (when there are SO MANY existing characters that would be awesome for this), but I have to admit, that's a pretty cover and I've been waiting for someone to use that title for like ten years.

    Eh, Zahn played around with his OCs in Allegiance and Choices of One because they were clearly conceptualized as ways of playing around with his OCs. Here, with it conceptualized around Zahn doing something different and going off with just a Han/Chewie/Lando adventure, I wouldn't be as concerned with him wedging in too much of his own universe. Karrde might show up, but that's about it. He's not going to fill out the whole dozen or however many with Karrde, though. He'll have to play with some existing characters, I think.
