I can see that, however I felt that the handmaiden's sacrifice didn't warrent me leave her in the ship. Although both gave up everything they had to join the Exile, she shared her deepest secrets.
It is all about influence as i recall, get them to tlak about their past, sooner or later you will get the option
I never fully opened up Boa Dur. The easiest time I had was playing with the mental stats maxed and going to Nar Shaddaa first. Atton, Mira, and Handmaiden all turned into force users before I left it.
They hardly changed it, altering a few water effects and sunshine doesn't really do much for the game. The Black Mesa update is suposed to re-model the entire game so it looks like Half Life 2, although it seems like that will never come out. Gameplay is more important than realism, although that does help if you want to feel like you're part of the game.
I disliked Darkside in KOTOR2. No matter what you did, no matter how Darkside your companions were they still acted Lightside. I chalk that up to the game being unfinished. In KOTOR Bastilla acted Darkside when she turned.
I enjoyed DS more in KOTOR 2, mainly because you can do stuff like make people jump off high platforms to their death
Yeah Bao-Dur is AWESOME! He is the most well rounded character of the story line. Now has anyone ever regularly played with a droid in their party other then HK? I tried for little bit, just to see what it was like... NOT FUN.
Playing with the droids is just asking for trouble. I simply never found them as that competent. HK-47 makes for a better conversational NPC than as a party member.
Bao-Dur was terrible and his quiet, sighing, mumbling way of speaking is super annoying. The Disciple was the worst party member in KOTOR2, though. As far as droid teammates go, the games are so easy it doesn't matter. G0-T0 and HK are good enough in battle and have plenty of skills, plus they're highly amusing. T3 is really weak but has more skill points than he can use.
This was literally the only DS thing I liked. Everything else is just the main character running around being a jerk. I have ot say I did play KOTOR2 as female once. Good grief, women sure go through a lot of being hit on and flirted with and commented on. Atton was hilarious though.
So amongst the varius selection of characters, if you were to chose one, other then Revan and the Exile, which one is did you always have on your team?
