Gunman is still on the loose, with people still trapped in the Sikh temple.

It's probably some anti-Muslim nutcase who mistook the Sikhs as Muslims. Wouldn't be the first time that happened.

Authorities responded to an incident at a Sikh temple in Milwaukee County on Sunday, where at least one body was seen lying in the parking lot. CNN affiliate WTMJ is reporting that multiple people may have been shot outside the temple.

WTMJ reports that the gunman may be on the loose. Aerial pictures show multiple bodies in the parking lot.

The shooting happened at about 10:40 a.m. local time, according to WTMJ.

An important lesson here is that if you want to go on a shooting rampage, you should do it in the middle of the day on a weekend at a time when it's convenient for people to tune into CNN.

speaking of which CNN is interviewing the son of someone who was shot saying that people calling from the temple on cell phones were reporting "multiple caucasian shooters."

So, either a race-based attack or mistaken anti-Muslim terrorism? Either, way, yuck.

dude messed with the wrong religion. sikhs are the friendliest ****** ******* in the world... until you mess with them. the mainstream of the religion is organized around a warrior culture of rolling deep and always being ready to shank a dude, and is a result of having like 9 out of 10 of their prophets brutally murdered by one majority state or another. piss em off and they start offing your leaders and demanding a khalistan (indira gandi joke)

yeah it's beyond stupid. One of my college buddies is a member of the sikh community here in Chicago. He and his brother are extremely successful members of the business community. His father's a doctor. You'd think they'd be more bitter, but they've been incredibly stoic over the years about the prejudice they've encountered.

This only happened because the Sikh religion deprived them of the right to carry an ceremonial AR-15 assault rifle with 100 round ammo drum.

I was telling a friend last week that we have not seen the last of the mass shootings. I expected a copycat sooner than later. Luckily this guy wasn't as successful as the last. I think Ghost may be correct and you had a guy gunning for Muslims and picked the wrong people. Or it could be another twenty-something, white male loner who is angry about being unemployed so he decided to take his frustrations out on the hardworking, blue collar, Sikh people who live in that area.

I think I'll jump aboard this sentiment.
