Ah, but you have underestimated me. For indeed, I am a smug a-hole. I know nothing of this dissent you speak of. (And dude, I missed your first post because I was working all day, just so you know. Wasn't trying to ignore or anything)

I have no problem with people disagreeing with my opinion (which I'll add, is of course true all the time) but some of the responses makes me wonder if certain posters even watched the episodes in question. Beyond that, and as a thread in whole, the immediate conclusion is obviously "bad writing!" and I'm not sure if certain people even want to consider any other possibilities. I enjoyed your above post, you acknowledge certain points that have been made, and debated them with your own opinion. But when you take a look at, say, the first page of this thread there is just a string of post saying "Katie Lucas... Katie Lucas..." I find it hard to imagine no one even considering the story point from the episode previous where Savage gave Ventress his life, as you point out, in exchange for his brothers. You are welcome to call Savage an idiot for trusting Asajj, but that seems an aside to me. (much like the larger aside of Savage returning to Talzin)

And my comment about subtle is because I see a lot of people saying, "that can't be true because they don't talk about it." That is an opinion I can't understand, TCW relies too heavily on dialogue as it is, that last thing I want to see is less things left up to the audience to interpret and debate.

Anyways, my opinions are known and I don't want to drag out arguments in here. I'm pretty tired of coming here with opinions and they all seem to get drawn out into some stupid argument about the most retarded points. And gosh darn it, I've only been active two weeks. My fault I'm sure, but whatever. Feel free to PM if you want to take this further.

    This

It shows how useless this thread is.

Its just a biased thread to blame katie lucas for bad writing. But her writing is not bad. If Savage says "She betrayed me" than he also legalize his own actions of betraying her! He was a coward and run away and it comforts him to accuse Ventress of a betrayel by mentioning this Brother which he killed himself.

    Where is the bad writing?

Where i have to write my complaints? Is there a seperate Thread?

How is Savage returning to Talzin an aside? By your own admission in earlier posts that's quite a big problem. Especially when you are going with the idea that he's angry at Asajj for being used/turning on Feral. Talzin is what turned Savage into the monstrous tool for Asajj to abuse.
And as I pointed out in my more recent post, Maul and Savage seem to be the end goal for Talzin coming out of the Nightsister arc. And if you take it at face value and say:

Asajj - with the help of a couple Nightsisters - failed to assassinate Dooku --> Asajj handpicking Savage (after a content in which he could have died) --> a fight between Asajj and Savage vs. Dooku --> Savage feeling betrayed (for whatever reason) mid fight and turning to Talzin --> Talzin sending Savage to find Maul to help train Savage against Asajj.

At face value it just looks like a string of coincidences that by sheer luck drops Savage into her lap. And it also makes it look like Talzin is prepared to help Savage kill Asajj - one of her clan. Not to mention the Nightbrothers are beneath the Nightsisters in authority, so why she would betray Asajj by helping Savage seems very controversial given their societal structure. What would have happened if Asajj and the Nightsisters would have killed Dooku the first time? Then that whole thing would have fallen apart. And Talzin is ready to help Savage find the training he needs to grow stronger so that he can kill a Nightsister (Asajj) who Talzin then continued to help by offering her shelter and helping her fight Dooku. It's convoluted. Which is why people are quick to point the finger at bad writing.

If this turns out to be some big elaborate, beautifully constructed plan of manipulation by Talzin, then it could turn out to be a wonderful story - but that would also mean that Savage's turn against Asajj was pre-determined by Savage and that you can't take things at face value. If you do take things at face value, then it is just convoluted bad writing that really doesn't make sense.

If it turns out to be some big elaborate thing like Talzin is manipulating everyone as pawns and foresaw that Asajj would fail against Dooku the first time, and wagered that she would pick Savage, and orchestrated Savage turning on Asajj so that both would end up turning to Talzin for guidance so that Savage could be her errand boy to find Maul and Asajj would lure the CIS to Dathomir where the only member of the clan more powerful than Talzin is killed (allowing Talzin to be free), etc. then I'd applaud Katie Lucas, George, and Filoni on a well thought out story.

But if all of this stuff is at face value, then it's a mess. For instance, if Talzin had Dooku's hair and the ability to make a voodoo doll that could kill him this whole time, why did she wait until the CIS was at her doorstep killing the Nightsisters?

Yeah, I really have to agree with TaradosGon once again. I can't think of anything to add.

I already said earlier in the thread that I don't need everything spelled out for me. I just want the existing dialogue to make sense. Yet that argument keeps being thrown around.
