There have been many deaths on TCW, a few noticeable, a few well-done, and a few WTF? Which character's death do you feel was handled the best by TCW team? Personally, I felt that Kalifa's death was done the best. That whole sequence at the end of "Padawan Lost" was absolutely fantastic.
I loved all of those deaths where they introduced a cool character only to immediately kill them off. Also, Evan Piell, because who cares about continuity consistency?
I voted for Echo just because I have to come actually appreciate his death and know no one else will vote for him.
I kind of hope Ahsoka lives on and becomes a recurring character in the live-action show just to troll the fans even harder. Because that's really all Star Wars is about anymore, trolling fans, and the merch, always the merch.
Agreed. And I loved Ziro. That was a period in season 3 went it felt like TCW had built itself enough characters that it could have self contained deaths that were meaningful. 1. Ziro 2. Hevy 3. King Katuunko 4. Todo 360 5. Nahdar Vebb 6. Ima-Gun Di 7. Hardcase Deaths waiting for, in order of when I want to see them happen: 1. Savage 2. Lux 3. Asajj 4. Rex 5. Cad Bane 6. Ahsoka
Oh, Maul. I forgot about him... what does that say? I'd stick him in at 3, and have some good space between his death and Asajj's.
She and Dooku would have to team up again. Would that make sense? And I take the Del Ray/Dark Horse Clone Wars as canon still, so I don't care if they mesh or not. I pretty much just throw this series out.
Hevy's was handled the best. I'm still upset about how poorly Echo was handled. It was so bad that it put me off finishing the Citadel Arc for months.
That is exactly how I felt about Echo's death. It was so strange and just felt so unnecessary given the scope of the episode... probably would've been more fitting in the final part of the trilogy, but blegh, still a bad taste in my mouth from that one.
Sadly, I can't say, really. Ziro's death was unexpected (IF THEY HADN'T SPOILED IT BY SHOWING HIS DEAD BODY IN THE PUBLICITY SHOT), but I liked his character. It was well done.
