They should do an Infinities Clone Wars comic with Talzin showing up on Mustafar instead of Sidious.
Wondering what she can do with Vader and the green force goo....

You mean Clone Wars comic, right SSS? ;)

When do they end the show? If they're trying to tie stuff into ROTS and expand/ruin/whatever the Saga, then they should probably end it after Season 5, but haven't we been told they're working on Season 6?

I could see another 3 seasons if they really just go "TCW: Tales" route, stop telling stories directly affecting the Saga, and focus not on Anakin, Obi-Wan, Padme, and I would probably be happy with that.

As far as how much to "blame Dave", that's kind of a pointless question. We'll never know how exactly it works. We have been told that Lucas now comes up with almost all of the ideas. So for sheer craziness, blame Lucas. For the execution of the craziness, I guess you could blame Filoni, the directors, the voice actors, the animators, and the writers. But really the main problem is with the writing, IMHO.

If you're going to do something ludicrous, at least make sure it's done well. I don't want to start a Mortis debate and in fact I'm directly warning against that in this thread, but again, IMHO, Mortis started off very well - they took a crazy idea and ran with it.....unfortunately the 2nd and 3rd parts were terrible.

One other strong possibility is not that this show has "jumped the shark", but it's more or less as good as it has ever been, and we're just experiencing Clone Wars Fatigue. I'm pretty sure way back in the day when they announced this show, people were going "what? ANOTHER Clone Wars cartoon, after the PT films, and all of the multimedia CW campaign has already been finished?"

If it's Clone Wars fatigue, then unfortunately the burden falls on the TCW team to deliver greatness, or we're automatically going to approach the episode through tired or cynical eyes.

Which again, ties in with my desire to get rid of the Big 3.

Nope, I still don't know the answer. But I'll keep providing a solution.

People like to complain, don't you see? If they stop watching, how can they keep bashing the show?

And some wonder why I don't come here more often. I posted a (cool and well done) picture of Boba Fett and the baseless canon rant starts once again.

    How are they baseless? o_O

Winning picture, Sx3. I'll be sure to use that in the future.

It definitely is a pointless debate at this point though. Neither side is going to convince the other.

Exactly. We are 5 seasons in already. If you didn't get used to it, there is the option of simply stop watching the series.

But Alexrd, if I stop watching the series, I won't get to talk with you any more, and I just can't bring myself to cut you out of my life like that.

I hate to be the voice of reason, but if you don't like canon debates than you could always avoid LACWAC. ;)

It is a cool picture, but I pointed out that the forearm covers are the wrong color. Not baseless. If they want him to look like he does in the OT, they should be the TESB color before they are the ROTJ color. They may defend it by saying that he'll change his suit components quite a bit over the following years (which would be fine), but if that's the case how odd is it that it starts out the same way it will end up at the end of that time? It would sure seem to be an excuse to cover a mistake.

At any rate, I love how the apparent rule is that you can either accept whatever TCW dishes out or simply shut up and stop watching it. I prefer to enjoy the show as much as I can, but I care more about preserving the integrity of the SW universe as a whole and not having canon and continuity get screwed up by it.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. I don't mind the canon debates, but there's not a great deal to be said on the topic that hasn't already been covered, and those who have taken their positions are unlikely to change them now.

I don't know, if someone comes in and presents an amazing, irrefutable argument on the case then I may change my stance purely out of respect.

That's not what I said. Personally, I don't accept everything TCW has done. But I don't come here to complain how they went against what I held as canon. Specially not after 5 seasons. After all this time, people should have accepted that they will go against what has been considered canon whenever they think it's necessary. They do it, and will keep doing. It's like complaining about Ahsoka's existence. Some of you don't like it? Fine. But it's useless to complain about it after all these years.

Fine. But so what? You'll not complain endlessly every time they go against canon, will you? Is it a surprise by now?
