DUDE, Joe Carnahan potentially directing Daredevil's reboot? That's...fracking awesome. It being used as leverage to get more characters back under Marvel's umbrella? That's awesome creating awesome. I guess the only crappy downside to that is that that probably means there's is zero chance of another A-Team movie happening, of whatever slim thread of hope that still remained.
The rumor has continued that Fox sees Galactus as a cornerstone villain of the FF franchise and doesn't want to give them up, and are also "lukewarm" on the DD reboot... so they might let the rights expire afterall, or work out a co-financing deal with Marvel for an extension. Either way, it seems a win for Marvel- unless Fox rushes a DD film into production by Oct 10th.
First world problems. "Oh NO! I can't get my Blu-Ray collection in a nifty suitcase/might have to wait a few extra months to get it!"
I think it's safe to say the movie will come out on time, even if the deluxe version is delayed for a retool.
Joss Whedon confirmed to write and direct The Avengers 2 and is developing the rumoured TV show that bridges the movies.
Whedon is back for Avengers 2 Not a big surprise, but nice to have it confirmed. Edit: Damn it, Chewgumma! *shakes fist*
Not until they get Spidey back. And the FF and DD. Fox can keep the X-Muties for all I care. They work best away from the rest of the Cinematic MU.
