That's rich. What can you possibly base that on? I fail to see why good business logic is a cause for concern. What you're suggesting is unreasonable for a show with a finite budget and working to a demanding schedule.
They already put more than enough time into animating Ahsoka's face, I'd rather they spent more time on brainstorming, plotting and writing. Maybe if they weren't rushing to stay a full season or more ahead of schedule they could take more time to perfect things.
Including Grievous with his twig-thin waist. Also, they already have a ton of alien assets from the PT. They should just modify and use them.
Main characters should have more care in their designs, but quantity over quality just seems to be TCW's style.
To the extreme. You can blame any ridiculous features on the models as sylization. Does the new Anakin's waist look anywhere near as thin to you? Also, the TCW model got a lot of the details just plain wrong.
Umm... good for you? Totally different topic: I absolutely hated the way Kamino was depicted in this series. The battle could have been extremely ominous with a backing of thunder and lightning, but instead it was broad daylight and dry (...what?) with very little atmosphere.
I really don't think that can be blamed on the budget. That doesn't make any sense. How is lightning and some rain so hard or expensive? They had rain in Shadow Warrior.
You know what, Kamino was the season opener so I'm not giving them a pass on that. I was very disappointed.
I would buy that, except at that point they had already demonstrated blizzard effects in Trespass, dust particles in the Geonosian arc, and interesting lighting in dark environments in several episodes. They showcased a rain effect at the beginning of the episode, so they clearly had come up with something of the sort, and I therefore just fail to understand why they completely threw out the notion of a stormy battleground. I don't profess to be fully versed in the animation process, but after seeing all those environments attempted in previous seasons I thought nasty weather wouldn't be too hard to process and I felt let down upon witnessing a dry Kamino.
I mean more in the sense of prioritising resource allocation. Rain isn't essential to the plot of ARC Troopers.
Raining on Kamino doesn't need to be a part of the actual plot, but it's a part of the plot's setting and that's the rain world of Kamino.
It was the season premiere and they have like 2-3 years to work on episodes. Just because it's not essential to the plot doesn't justify skimping out on important details to me.
