I've heard that DC Comics is going to be making a new Masters of the Universe comic, written by James Robinson (Starman, Justice League of America), with the premise being that Skeletor has finally conquered Eternia, and He-man is an amnesic woodsman who suddenly remembers who he is after meeting the Sorceress (probably Teela?), and sets out to gather up the rest of the Masters to overthrow Skeletor's rule. I hope this is good, and the creative team says that they respect the property and the nostalgic attachment people like me have to it, but I'm taking a "wait and see" attitude about the whole thing.
I was hoping this thread would be about the Twilight fanfic that got find/replaced into 50 Shades of Grey.
Always kinda hoped they'd take a real chance and sort of remake the MOTU moviverse as an animated series- keep the designs, keep Frank Langella (and maybe some of the other villains (Meg Foster) and just ignore the whole Earth plotline. Show Skeletor forming his army, taking Greyskull, have the heroes escape to other parts of Eternia with the Cosmic Key, etc. And, of course, keep the awesome monologues.
That skeleton thing? Yeah, I had that. It's probably still in my mom's basement, or in my brother's garage.
I forget where I read it, I don't think it was here, but He-Man scaled up from the action figure would have an arm that measures over 30 inches. I think he is supposed to be between 6'2" and 6'4". Anyonme still have a figure and want to scale it?
We'll know for sure if it comes out and every character is romantically paired with another character even if they shouldn't be.
