I wish the Browns could have gotten something at least a little different. I mean, we've been losing since the end of the 1960s and we've been doing it with the same uniforms ever since.
I read that the Colts are interested in Leftwich for QB. If they are drafting Luck just go all in this season and put him out there. Plus Leftwich will probably break a bone again in training camp to miss another year. I think there are better people out there. I know he knows the new system but still.
Peter King hinting at a Jonathan Vilma suspension on Twitter, and Vilma takes offense to it on Twitter. It's tough to remember what sports was like pre-Twitter sometimes.
http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?section=news/sports&id=8606516 Ryan Leaf arrested again, and no I'm not talking about the one being discussed just a few days ago, he was just arrested 2 after that for the exact same thing. Apparently someone caught him in their house, to which he replied that he had the wrong address and left, and he was found with more medication that didn't belong to him.
I swear the pre - Twitter world was less atheletes and entertainers sticking their feet in their mouths. I think I like that world better sometimes. Anybody know if Reebok is going to have a NFL apparel line for women that doesn't try to shove the color pink down female fans throats?
Don't get me wrong, I like pink, and I don't mind it when they're having the players wear a bit of pink during October for Breast Cancer awareness month, because, well, breast cancer awareness. But if I'm going to support my team, I'm going to support my team by wearing my team's colors, and not frelling pink! I don't think I quite forgave Jessica Simpson for wearing that pink and rhinestone Cowgirl jersey at Texas Stadium to support Romo. IMO, she set the female sports fan back a decade or two by doing that.
Agreed. I wish we had a football role model like baseball has Alyssa Milano. She has worked to get girl baseball shirts and they are team colors.
Milano actually does have a similar with the NFL. It's just unfortunately thanks to Simpson and the like, most seem to think female football fans prefer pink.
At least Milano's line has everything in team colors. I'm sure she does offer pink, but the commercials that air has her (or, for example in one ad, a coach's wife - At least I think that was Jim Harbaugh's wife), modeling a piece from the line in a NFL Team's colors.
Juliet Dick's Sporting Goods has a decent collection of women's gear. Yes there is some pink but there are some other non-pink choices for you. Linkage
