I'll probably get some flack for this, especially since I wouldn't care if they had to retcon some stuff to do it, but if they had an actor that could bring the character to life in a real way I'd love to see Kyle Katarn.

My Kyle knowledge isn't great, but would he fit in that timeframe - as in if they start shortly after the end of ROTS that is?

Yeah, I know it's roughly the right period, but I'm not sure exactly how old he is or what, if anything, it's already established he's doing in the Dark Times.

Well they would have 20 years to play with, or so.

Maybe, I'm not sure how much of that time is already filled, are you?

As far as Lucas would be concenred when it comes to a LAS, none of it.

In the EU there has been a lot of stories.

Kyle looked to be in his 20-30s in Dark Forces which was set just before ANH. If he does make an appearance, he would be really young, a teen perhaps.

Jar Jar Binks killed. (Not heroically, but like trip and fall out a window or speeder or something.)

If it's set in like 19 bby why bother though? Rhan would make more sense anyways.

As much as I love the idea of seeing Katarn, he's probably too young in that timeframe.

Well yeah, if they made it start immediately after Ep. III they couldn't use Kyle, but it wouldn't have to.

Would love to see the showdown between Kenobi and Hett on Tatooine...
Ewan is a little older now, it wouldn't be hard to pull off.

    - More than anythng, I'd love to see (and will be rooting for) an appearance by Ewan as Obi-Wan. The series is to be set during a time of importance for the character of Kenobi - one that I think derserves some Lucas / onscreen exploration. Obi-Wan and Luke have always been my favourites, and the clincher for me is that while I naturally adore Sir Alec's 'Ben', McGregor completely sold me with his portayal of Kenobi, and as far Star Wars is concerned, I actually find myself yearning for more Ewan-as-Kenobi screentime.

    - Someone mentioned Boba Fett and Cad Bane. Although it's based on conjecture mostly, I fully expect to see Boba Fett loom fairly large in this series, and I'm cool with that. If Bane does indeed survive the Clone Wars, I'm envisioning a grudge match between Fett and Bane in the shadow-filled alley ways of the lower levels of Coruscant. Maybe they are vying for the same bounty - I don't know, but I could see this being the moment where Boba supplants Cad as the galaxy's bounty hunting bad**s. Still, I'm not entirely convinced we won't be treated to something along these lines (prematurely for Boba, IMO) on TCW.

    - Sam Witwer as Marek. (I can feel LACWAC's anger. The hate is swelling.)
    - Rahm Kota (and that goes for TCW, too)
    - Quinlan Vos (preferably not as the Dude, though)
    - Vader. Natch.
    - Yup, you guessed it, Sidious.
    - Stormtroopers out the yin-yang (in all their various iterations - Imperial Commandos and the like).
    - Organa, Mothma, Bel Iblis (and Corellia), the Imperial Senate and the traitorous / heroic founders of the Alliance.
    - R2 and 3PO (at least a passing glimpse) under Antillies.

God, I don't know - a million others, I suppose, and I know this list really flies in the face of the "No Jedi" credo (and I really am excited to meet all new characters from the underground), but I can't help but hope to see some of the heroes we've already gotten to know and love. Still, if I could only have one, give me Ob-Ewan Kenobi.

I wouldn't mind Ventress. I don't think TCW is going to follow her C-canon fate, so im sure that part (that doesn't mean all parts of the Republic comics) of the comics would become non-canon.

Ventress' C-Canon fate wouldn't contradict with her show appearance at all. Quite the opposite, it opens the possibility and remains an unresolved plot point in a sense. She survives the war. If anything, TCW might kill her.

But yeah, if she survives, I'd expect to see her and Sing at some point in the show.

Setting aside the precedent for disrespecting established characterization and events, if the Live-Action Series ever does take off, I would really like to see:
Quinlan Vos and his family. In regard to having a Jedi on the series, Vos has already shown a perfect willingness to to use a blaster, falling back on his lightsaber only when necessary. And it wouldn't be the same to include him without Khaleen and Korto as well.
Galen Marek. While The Force Unleashed shows the wild "unleashed" take on just what he could do, it would be interesting to see just how he would function in a more contemporary movie-level take on the universe. And the canon discrepancies of the game aside, I did really enjoy his character. It would also make sense from a marketing standpoint, as there will undoubtedly be an Imperial assassin character present in the series, they might as well attempt to make a connection with—and cash in on—what has been a commercially successful and recently recognizable game series.
