@QFET Ah, with the Mandalore/Deathwatch subplot I tend to think that unfortunately Ahsoka is now a player in it and its part of how Ahsoka is ultimately going to get written out. I'd like to see Korkie return, if only because his name makes me LOL everytime I hear it. The kids from "The Academy" almost need a spinoff.
Filoni: this has become my filoni reaction gif, by the way. I am quite fond of it. But @Seerow, I kind of disagree. I get the feeling that her "wildness" and her "seeds of the dark side" previously hinted at are going to be her undoing in some major way outside of any already established subplot, but of course it's all speculation.
@Anonymous Ahsoka falling to the darkside would be so Anticlimatic that I hope not. I'll my theory on Wolfpack and Ahsoka in length perhaps later. I can't properly write it out at work. <<;
Imo, completely opposite. Ahsoka "sunset exit," hidden/exile, expelled and runs off somewhere = Anticlimatic to me. I still do not agree with Ahsoka going into the events of ROTS And now I will stop talking about Ahsoka because it just doesn't feel right...
They already received "dark Ahsoka" from Craptis, so they might as well follow through with it + all the "dark" stuff Ahsoka does.
I don't mean a complete fall, I actually see something more along the lines of her allowing her anger to momentarily consume her, thus "unbalancing" her and in that moment directly causing her tragic death. I want her death to be something of a reinforcement for Anakin that he is heading down the wrong path, not so much as a steppingstone along it because I feel like that is far too reminiscent of his mother's role. I too have a more fleshed out scenario that I'd be happy to discuss with you later if you like
Unfortunately indeed. I can tolerate and even like Ahsoka in late-S3 and S4, but I think it was misguided of LFA to make her the only one of the main cast to have hard contact with Death Watch in S4. A single episode with Lux and DW is all well and good, but I'd have readily sacrificed Shadow Warrior if it meant a second Mandalorian episode, this one focused on furthering the Obi-Wan/Satine relationship and the Satine/Vizsla enmity that - to be perfectly blunt - we haven't seen since S2. I thought it was fascinating back then to see the professional relationship and later impersonal animosity between Satine and Vizsla in The Mandalore Plot and parts of the other two in the trilogy. I was hoping that this would become one of the series' great conflicts, filled with nuance, complexity and great action, but it got lost amidst the poisoned tea and peculiar interventions from Padme and Ahsoka. I thought it was good that A Friend In Need alluded to a traumatic fallout between Vizsla and Dooku, and I thought the portrayal of DW as a Social Darwinist terrorist group was spot on, but it didn't have a chance to explore anything else about Vizsla barring how he affected Lux and Ahsoka. In my ideal S4, Shadow Warrior would not exist (it was inconsequential anyway) and its slot in the roster would have been taken by a single followup episode to A Friend In Need, focusing on the actual New Mandos vs. DW conflict and the relationship between Obi-Wan and Satine.
GGrievous, I liked your post for "Craptis". Thank you, that was pure awesome. And my sentiments exactly. As far as Ahsoka not getting involved in every episode--how else would Filoni let the world know which characters he likes best, if they aren't in every episode and saving the other characters from their own incompetence?
I'm pretty impressed that this has nearly 100 replies in a day. I was kinda expecting around 4. It does seem like every character on TCW's is getting this though(some of them twice) . In Season 2 Satine was Obi-Wan's love interest, Anakin of course has Padme(even if we never see it) so its only natural that they line up the third lead(Ahsoka) with someone.
"Commander Wolffe, execute Order 66" The clone commander blinked and gave a quick confirmation to the hooded man in his palm. Nearby, the newly knighted Ahsoka Tano paced restlessly. "Woooooolffe! Omg! I sense.. my master! He's being MEEAN! OMG.. Master Plo noooo! What's going on?!" "WILL YOU SHUT THE **** UP?" BLAM! The end.
