	THE ALPHABET GAME As inspired by the television show, Whose Line is it Anyway?, the Alphabet Game of the JCC came into existence on . Since then we have seen over 5000 posts. This is approximately 190 rounds of the game. We have also seen many rule changes to keep the game fresh for all the devoted would-be librarians that frequent this humble thread. But now, it is time to start anew with a fresh thread!! We hope those loyal to the thread keep posting, as well as many new alphabeteers! Please note there has been a couple of rule changes since the previous thread which have been implemented to have a better and more enjoyable game. Also, I have taken this opportunity to promote Imoen to the ranks of MVP. Long have I watched this one, and have been saddened by the fact that this promotion has been so long in coming! Congrats Imoen! Enjoy! RULES OF THE ALPHABET GAME 1. Your post should start with the next letter in the alphabet after the first letter of the previous post. This may seem confusing, but just watch for awhile and it becomes clear. The sentence must be as coherent as possible, and must flow with the conversation if possible. 2. Do not edit your post to get rid of double letters. 3. Only edit your post if it is out of place such as if someone posts a "C" and you post an "A". Just edit it and put (no message). 4. If you post a "L" don't post a "M" give other people a chance to post the next letter. This rule does not apply if more than 24 hours of board time passes. 5. After the post required for the game, a line may be placed across the post by using the mark up code [ hr] (nb - without spaces obviously) Under the line is exempt from the game and anything can be discussed (within the JCC TOS).
