	Skating was my life. I had a half-pipe in my backyard, and we set up a little jump ramp pointing right towards my pool. We tied a rope to the back trucks so the board would stop at the end of the ramp & we'd go flying into the water. Those first couple test runs (trying to make that turn & slamming into the flatbottom face first) were pretty painful (for my friend ) but once we got it down, those were some good times. Showing my age... Fav skaters: Lance Mountain, Steve Caballero, Natas Kaupas, Tony Hawk, Mike Valley, ..... Hey... I actually know who those guys are! LOL . and to show MY age, I grew up in the same town the Powell Peralta factory was in, so I was able to attend the 'Bones Brigade' premiere of "The search for Animal Chin." I remember Tommy Guerrero getting up in front of the crowd & saying something funny(but I dont remember what). After the show it was skating frenzy. More good times. That was back in the day when we kept trying to get skate parks built & noone would do it. Now they're friggin everywhere! I still watch the x-games & stuff like that, so I've seen guys like Bucky Lasek who are newer. I just dont follow it like I used to. I still have a board & I still go skate every once in a while, but Im getting to the point where my skating injuries are coming back to haunt me. I dont want any more. I need to stay healthy for snowboarding! quietly waiting for a Bones Brigade Boxed DVD set that will probably never be released Heck yeah. That would be sooooo cool. -----signature----- just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe. 	Realize there is a difference between skating and skateboarding. Skating refers to aggressive inline (not Rollerblade, a real sk8r may beat you for that one). So for now, a fishbrain royale. Representin. -----signature-----

	Sure theres a difference. Skateboarders are all "punk" and can beat everyone up. Skaters are anyone who can inline skate. Please note the sarcasm in point number 1.
