Sorry to hear about everyone else that is sad as well. My dog is very sick and that makes me sad. I know that compared to what some of you are dealing with right now that seems insignificant. Many hugs to those that need that support right now.

I can't stop thinking about ways to die. It should probably be worrying but I kind of like it.

So yeah, I'm now on pills and doing better. The only problem is I still get down sometimes. The pills help by stopping me going too far down, which is OK. A lot of the time I just feel so blah. Like now, I have a practical session to go to in 5 minutes, it takes long than that to get there and I'm just not motivated to go. There are other problems as well, ones the pills can't help with. Still, I'm alive and in one piece, that has to count for something, right?

Yes.
I'm glad you are doing better. The pills can't stop ALL the ups and downs, but staying active helps. Go to your prac.

Seriously, refrain from any alcohol use. It can counteract an anti-depressant and make you ten times as depressed. If you were already a little emotionally unstable(and I don't mean that in a bad way) mixing the two could make you downright suicidal.

I've been seeing a counsellor lately, which has been good. It's always hard to know where to start each time but once I get going it's OK. I think it's helping in a way. Even if she doesn't understand everything completely it's still good to talk to someone about these things.
I've not had problems with alcohol counteracting my anti-depressants before. I do find it helps, if I go out and there are too many people the alcohol calms me down and lets me enjoy myself, which generally makes me feel better.

I've reached the point where I really don't think that there's much of a future - personally, or professionally - for me.

Can you pass the cat to my offices please?
I am little depressed today.
I remember animals are good to help heal sad times. At work they bring cats and dogs to heal spiritually our temporally sick patients.
