torres brushes lahm aside too easily for the goal in the final, lahm is a good player but im not sure how his frame will stack up psychially in the premier league

Seriously though, obviously this is terrible for Yobo and his family, but it's not exactly tip-top news for the club either. We already have a minniscule squad. Don't need Yobo embroiled in a family crises come the start of a new season.

They need to sell a few players, not buy, IMO.
Mikel, Lampard, Deco, Essien, Ballack
over-stocked midfield
and buying Kaka or Ronaldinho is kind of pointless, I think. They have enough players getting into the box with the midfield they have. Deco's the only one who plays as a deep lying midfielder. Essien, Ballack, Lampard(if he stays), Kaka would just get on each other's toes. They'd have to change their system around to accomodate Kaka. It's a perfect English system they have, minus a really good forward and depth at centerback. I wouldn't change it around to fit in Kaka.

Chelsea are ready to bid £75m for AC Milan's Brazilian playmaker Kaka after their initial "astronomical" bid was turned down. (Daily Express)
I'll laugh if Ronaldo breaks the world record transfer fee and Kaka breaks it later this summer or if Kaka breaks it first and Ronaldo's is less. 
EDIT: but yeah, I'd much rather get a top quality winger.
