	RAVENCLAW UPDATE Books What exactly was Snape doing for the Order in OOTP, and will his role change in any way in the future, especially considering the events at the end of OOTP? 10 points. I believe Snape was doing some undercover reconaissance work for the Order. Being a former Death Eater, he would know many of the people who supported Voldemort, and maybe some who were borderline. He could be using some unknown contacts to keep tabs on the Death Eaters' activities, and who was where. He was in a unique position, and one no one else in the Order could fill, seeing as how none of the other members were former Death Eater's. As far as his role in the future, I think he'll come more into the open against Voldemort, maybe even face off with some of the Death Eaters. I think Snape will be the next in the Order to die. Just to add a twist, I believe Snape will die saving Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, proving to them once and for all he was a true member of the Order. They have made their feelings about Snape well-known, and I believe this will be the last valiant act of Severus Snape. [Sar-Tamber-lac] Movies Script a scene from the Sorcerer's Stone book that was omitted completely from the movie. Do not just type out the dialogue – also include some descriptions of actions and scenery, etc. Also, must not be overly short. May do up to 3. 40 points. EXT: QUIDDITCH STANDS. RON and HERMIONE shuffle through the stands to empty seats beside NEVILLE. CAMERA zooms to NEVILLE as he looks quizzically at RON and HERMIONE as they sat down and as Hermione shoves her wand up her sleeve. CAMERA on HERMIONE, who leans over to Ron. HERMIONE: Now, don’t forget, it’s Locomotor Mortis. CAMERA on Ron, who rolls his eyes as he shoves his own wand up his sleeve. RON: I know. Don’t nag. INT: GRYFFINDOR LOCKER ROOM. HARRY finishes tightening his arm guards as OLIVER WOOD pulls HARRY aside. CAMERA on OLIVER, who has a serious visage. OLIVER: Don’t want to pressure you, Potter, but if we ever need an early capture of the Snitch it’s now. Finish the game before Snape can favor Hufflepuff too much. CAMERA pulls back, showing FRED WEASLEY in the background, peering out the door. FRED: The whole school’s out there! CAMERA on FRED, who eyes his teammates then looks out once more. FRED: Even – blimey – Dumbledore’s come to watch! CAMERA to HARRY, who looks shocked. CAMERA follows HARRY as HARRY runs to door. EXT: DOOR OF GRYFFINDOR LOCKER ROOM. FRED and HARRY both look out. CAMERA pans over NOISY CROWD. Red and yellow streamers fly everywhere. CAMERA on HARRY, who smiles with relief. EXT: MIDDLE OF QUIDDITCH PITCH. PROFESSOR SNAPE stands with his arms crossed. CAMERA pans out as the doors to HUFFLEPUFF LOCKER ROOM open and 7 yellow figures emerge and crowd begins to cheer. SNAPE watches them fly overhead with eyes, then turns his gaze to the GRYFFINDOR LOCKER ROOM. CAMERA pulls back as GRYFFINDOR LOCKER ROOM doors open and 7 red figures fly out onto the pitch. CAMERA switches to aerial shot as players take their places. CAMERA slowly zooms in on HARRY, who watches below him diligently. CAMERA goes to SNAPE, who snarls as he kicks open a large BOX. EXT: QUIDDITCH STANDS. RON and HERMIONE watch on eagerly. RON: I’ve never seen Snape look so mean. Look – they’re off. CAMERA switches to large BOX on field. SNAPE throws up the QUAFFLE as two BLUDGERS and the SNITCH zoom off. CAMERA follows the QUAFFLE. ANGELINA JOHNSON grabs the QUAFFLE and zooms off. CAMERA switches to CROWD. Many are cheering loudly. CAMERA focuses on RON and HERMIONE. RON is pitched forward. RON: Ouch! CAMERA focuses behind RON, where DRACO MALFOY, CRABBE, and GOYLE are sitting. DRACO smirks. DRACO: Oh, sorry, Weasley, didn’t see you there. CRABBE and GOYLE laugh. CAMERA pulls back, showing the two rows of seating. RON glares at DRACO, while HERMIONE and REST OF CROWD watch game. DRACO grins broadly. DRACO: Wonder how long Potter’s going to stay on his broom this time? Anyone want a bet? DRACO eyes CRABBE and GOYLE, then looks to RON. DRACO: What about you, Weasley? CAMERA on RON, who opens his mouth to speak, but turns his head back to the game. CAMERA on GEORGE WEASLEY, with SNAPE in distance. GEORGE swings his club at an oncoming BLUDGER, knocking it near SNAPE. CAMERA on SNAPE, who glares. SNAPE blows a WHISTLE loudly. SNAPE: Penalty against Gryffindor! CROWD boos as CAMERA shows a HUFFLEPUFF PLAYER shooting a penalty. CAMERA turns to HERMIONE, who sits with her fingers crossed in her lap, squints up into the sky. CAMERA switches to HARRY, who is circling the PITCH up above. CAMERA to DRACO. DRACO: You know how I think they choose people for the Gryffindor team? Another WHISTLE is heard. CAMERA goes back to game, showing another HUFFLEPUFF PLAYER shooting a penalty. CAMERA back to DRACO. DRACO: It’s people they feel sorry for. See, there’s Potter, who’s got not parents, then there’s the Weasleys, who’ve got no money – you should be on the team, Longbottom, you’ve got no brains. CAMERA to NEVILLE, who turns bright red and turns to DRACO. NEVILLE: I’m worth twelve of you, Malfoy. CAMERA to DRACO, CRABBE, and GOYLE, who howl with laughter. CAMERA to RON, who does not look up from the game. RON: You tell him, Neville. CAMERA to DRACO. DRACO: Longbottom, if brains were gold you’d be poorer than Weasley, and that’s saying something. CAMERA to RON, who turns and glares at DRACO. RON: I’m warning you, Malfoy – one more word... CAMERA to HERMIONE, who points to the game. HERMIONE: Ron! Harry...! CAMERA to RON, who turns back to the game. RON: What? Where? CAMERA to QUIDDITCH GAME, where HARRY has just gone into a dive. CROWD begins to cheer. CAMERA to HERMIONE & co. HERMIONE stands, putting her crossed fingers in her mouth. CAMERA to RON, with DRACO behind him. DRACO: You’re in luck, Weasley, Potter’s obviously spotted some money on the ground! RON jumps over back of seat and tackles DRACO. BOTH wrestle to the ground. CAMERA to NEVILLE, who sighs then jumps over his seat as well. CAMERA to HERMIONE with co. in background fighting. HERMIONE stands on her seat. RON punches DRACO. CRABBE and GOYLE punch NEVILLE. MIANA punches KEYBOARD. DRACO punches RON. HERMIONE: Come on, Harry! CAMERA to SNAPE, who turns on his broomstick as HARRY streaks past. HARRY pulls out of his dive and raises the SNITCH in the air. CAMERA on crowd, who begins to scream madly. CAMERA on HERMIONE, who is jumping up and down on her seat. HERMIONE: Ron! Ron! Where are you? The game’s over! Harry’s won! We’ve won! Gryffindor is in the lead! HERMIONE hugs PARVATI PATIL in front of her while RON pops up from ground, sporting a bleeding lip. CAMERA to HARRY, who lands his broomstick and jumps to the ground. He grins broadly as a sea of students flood onto the PITCH. CAMERA to SNAPE, who lands nearby. SNAPE is white-faces and tightlipped. CAMERA to HARRY, who still smiles. A HAND lands on HARRY’s shoulder, HARRY looking up. CAMERA follows HARRY’s gaze to DUMBLEDORE. DUMBLEDORE smiles. DUMBLEDORE: Well done. Nice to see you haven’t been brooding about that mirror... been keeping busy... excellent. CAMERA to SNAPE, who spits bitterly onto the ground. [Miana] Things that were (sometimes known as Parody Tonight) What House was Cornelius Fudge in (if he attended Hogwarts)? Why? 10 points. Cornelius Fudge was in Hufflepuff House when he was in Hogwarts. He most probably went to Hogwarts because Hogwarts is the premier school of withcraft and wizardry in Britain, and it is unlikely that the Minister for Magic went elsewhere for tuition. It is fairly clear in the books that he isn't the greatest practitioner of magic around, making him unlikely to have been from Ravenclaw. He doesn't seem to be the bravest of heart or the sneakiest of character, ruling out Gryffindor and Slytherin. Hufflepuff House is the House for the reliable plodders, the ones who don't belong in the other Houses. Therefore, Cornelius Fudge was in Hufflepuff House. 	Good updates everyone. Except, Blaise Zabini was in Slytherin, not Ravenclaw, which is what one of the future speculations said. I know this, because I did a portrait of him/her.
