What percentage of submarines would you say are yellow?

Just one. So...less than 0.02%

What percentage of submarines would you say are red and/or captained by Sean Connery?

All the Russian ones.

Where's the best place to put a submarine when playing Battleship?

Always in the middle. No one ever thinks of shooting there.

6-inches or foot-long?

Foot-long. Always.

Just how useful is a screen door on a submarine?

As useful as a eunich in a whorehouse.

Edit:

Is it true theyre long and hard and full of seamen?

No. They're long, black, hard, and full of seamen.

Which country do you foresee as being able to compete with the US submarine fleet in 20 years?

Does the US have enough submarines?

It's true that we serve really good food. Our enlisted guys get much better meals than the surface enlisted guys do. That's probably because they mass-produce meals. Our cooks only have to feed about 150 guys at a time so you get a slightly higher quality meal. From what I understand, the food we all get is about the same, though. It's all in the preparation.

China and Israel already can compete with our submarine fleet to a degree, depending on how you define "compete". A more detailed answer than that might just exceed the classification of this board. wink

As for whether or not we have enough submarines, the official answer is yes, so...yes. plain

Because if they did, then there'd be no way for you to laugh at them and say "the stupid shall be punished."

I'm sad that they got rid of the nuclear sub for Civ IV. sad There was a certain satisfaction in having a tactical nuclear warhead parked off the shore of every capital city in the world.

So, for my question: Why is there no nuclear sub in Civ IV?

Exactly, Souderwan! What else is a submarine good for - launching nuclear strikes from the sea and giving Tom Clancy a fangasm!

EDIT: shock Souderwan is a submariner, so is Jonesy from the Clancy books. Souderwan is black, so is Jonesy fromt he Clancy books. Therefore, Souderwan is... a witch!
