Good morning everyone!
DG, sorry to hear about the car troubles, but like Mike said, it is a pretty minor mishap considering what could have happened! Since I have been out of touch a bit lately I may be behind on this but is this a first date? If so, how did it go (assuming it happened last night)?

Hey Sticky. Yeah, I know what could have happened and am lucky. A few years ago, a friend of mine was killed on the interstate while changing a flat. Somehow, he ended up in a lane of traffic and was hit by a car which threw him into another lane where her got ran over. To lessen my chances of losing my balance and stumbling/falling into the traffic, I went down onto one knee while changing it.
Our date was tonight and it was our third date.  We had a great time again. She was about 45 minutes late though so we didn't get to finish our food before we had to rush to see the Dark Knight. We took the rest of our food with us(had Japanesse). After the movie, we went to a coffee shop then went to a book store and got some books. I didn't try to kiss her yet but I did tell her that I really like her and that she has beautiful eyes, which she does. She told me that she liked me too and we're talked a bit about our next date.

Sounds like things are off to a good start. I hope it continues to go well! Have you progressed far enough to determine if she is a Star Wars junkie yet or are you saving that info until later?

Wow sounds like things are going pretty good between you and the girl DG, sorry to hear about your car troubles and about your friend 
Last year I was trailing my parents and one of the tires on the trailer blew apart it took me more then a few miles to my liking to get them to stop and pull over. Eventually they did. So I walk up to them and said didn't you notice a suddenly really bad tug on the trailer or realize that it was slanted to one side? I had to pull up behind them at a stop light and get their attention about it sheesh.
Sigh so hows everyone doing today? Its the long weekend whoohoo

Thank you, Patty, Falcon and Sticky.
She is a SW fan but I don't think that she's as into it as many of us are. She has the movies and enjoyed seeing CW with me a couple weeks ago but I don't think she has many of the books or collects the toys and such.

Well, you can always work on improving that little character fault .
We really didn't accomplish much this weekend. We had the neighbors over for dinner yesterday and I have to mow the lawn today. Other than that, it was just a lazy weekend. My boy goes back to school tomorrow, but he is still young enough to be excited about it!

Today I think I'll work up my nerve and ask my neighbour to help me put the hood decal on I think this is my window before everything turns cold again. I need two complete dry days for it to dry properly and theres no rain all week which is perfect.
Its a little better then nothing DG just don't scare her away with the geekness that some of us tend to show quite a bit 
I'm working on a new fanfic called A long winding road, I've always wanted to turn completely geeky and write my RP character into the books, so I'm rehasing TAB
This should be fun hehe

Concidering the last part of our date Saturday was spent at a book store, I don't think that'll scare her.
