The Sleepy series is basically a Murder-in-Mansion mystery game, but in post-by-post thread form. The game will begin with a certain amount of players and after a certain period of time all but two of those players will be eliminated. The last two remaining are Winner and Murderer. The winner receives a one-week VIPship! The Murderer is a player predetermined before the game's start who periodically offs players throughout the course of the game. Throughout the game there will be challenges and clues. Challenges will provide successful players with such rewards like temporary immunities from murder, limited VIPships, etc... Clues will be laced into everything. They will be in challenges, murder events, the murderer's posts, my posts, etc.... But beware red herrings! Remember!, being eliminated will result in a 24-hour ban. But you can, of course, post under a sock.

Unlike past Sleepy games, this time around there will be an entirely new edge. You, the player, will not create your own character. Why? Because they're already made for you! They're in the world of fiction. You can choose anybody who is imaginary and well-known. It does not matter if the character you want is alive or deceased in his/her respective world. You can be a person you love, or a person you hate in hopes of seeing that person face a grisly end.

You can be anybody from Zeus to Don Quixote to Darth Vader to Harry Potter.

Also, keep in mind, that the personality you choose may end up also serving the role of Murderer. or.... murdered (most likely the latter).

The Game will occur in a fictional, ancient tower which at the beginning will be isolated and its inhabitants sealed off from the outside world by an as-of-yet unrevealed plot device.

I am the Game's sole Host. The Host, however, occupies a distanced and detached role from the game's progress and is purely there for the mechanical purposes of posting the Murderer's latest offing, challenges, etc... the Host's only creative aspect and hand in the game is that of making the challenges and providing the setting. The Host is also of course Game Master- ensuring that offed players do not continue to post in thread, etc... the Hosts's own character also shall enjoy no privilege in being that. As character, he is another player in the game (albeit one that cannot win).

There will aslo be a Co-Host, to help me out when I'm unavailable. That co-host is harpuah! Between the two of us, all bases should be covered.

Before I end my post, I would like to ask that should you decide to join this game, you must know that you are a JC poster, through and through. When the game begins, "idle-bies" will be eliminated off the back one by one or even en masse. This is purely to get the game and the murderers to the players that are actually playing.
