Arlon, we are fast approaching the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the Guardian of Arlon Blog Thread. Time has flown by since the 21st of May 2007. Celebrations are obviously in order.
I hereby proclaim that May 21st will from now on officially be ARLON DAY on the JC. A banner should be made and everyone should participate in Arlon Day. What do people do on Arlon Day? This must be discussed and decided on in the next week or two. This is the first ever Arlon Day and will establish traditions that will continue longer than the rest of us will live. Very important.
Arlon, obviously you are going to have to post a one year anniversary blog on Arlon Day. It should not be one of your short blogs, it should be a decent blog in which you reflect on all that you have learned and experienced on the JC through your blog thread and ponder what is in store for the Guardian of Arlon blog thread in future years.

I propose that everyone should pick their favorite blog and say why the enjoy it. Arlon himself should also pick his single favorite blog the year, in addition to making his State of the Thread address.
I also propose that the P&W forum be opened up on Arlon Day.

No, Arlon Day is official, I proclaimed. The mods approval is irrelevant! The only thing contingent on their approval would be extra nice additions like an Arlon Day banner, or the opening of pancakes and waffles, or such zaniness. But Arlon Day can be had without these extravagances if necessary and still be a wonderful success.
Mark your calendars everyone: MAY 21st 2008: THE FIRST ANNUAL ARLON DAY.
