Andalite, you have made my Sworn Enemy cry. I love you in a strictly buddy-buddy way. Not that there's anything wrong with the alternative.

Just for the record, French grammar is simpler than the other Romance languages'.
The hardest part about French is the spelling, and even that is easier than English spelling.

While she was a little out there, she never showed signs of being all "woe is me". She was more "don't get near me, I might hurt you", which is not emo.

The problem with French is that a whole bunch of different words sound the exact same! And that screwed me up on tests!

The others are even worse? How is that possible? They have a rule for everything and each one alters the one I just learned last week. If it's so easy, how come we learned a new one every week for years? You can learn German and English grammar in a month.
Old English grammar looks easier and I don't even know Latin.

The other Romance languages have more complex verb conjugations (they're not as phonetically similar as French conjugations), no overt subject pronouns, and a wider variety of tenses that are used, especially subjunctive tenses (which are also used more frequently than in French). Italian and Romanian also have a more complex system of marking gender and number in nouns and adjectives, whereas French is probably the easiest in this regard because its markings often don't affect pronunciation.
Still, French is the hardest of all the Romance languages when it comes to spelling and I believe it also has the largest phonetic inventory. However, even though there are often many ways of writing the same sound for example, French pronunciation is still fundamentally rule-based, however complicated those rules may be. There are very few true exceptions to these rules, unlike in English, where the relationship between spelling and pronunciation is often completely arbitrary. After all, there are over six pronunciations of "ough."
Edit: But you're right about English grammar being easier, IMO. One of the difficulties for speakers of non-Germanic languages who learn English is the abundance of particle / phrasal verbs, as well as the irregular past tenses. But compared to most European languages, English grammar is a breeze.
