I sorry, but the sheer abundance of dipthongs makes the French language as desirable as a fetid piece of month old bacon. I still read "moi" as "moy" sometimes.

well, thanks Terr, but all you've convinced me of is that I'll never consider going anywhere near any Romance language in my life. I guess that counts as excellent advice. 
For me and hopefully for Arlon - that's what started this whole thing in here after all  You hear that, Arlon? Learn German. Maybe then I'll be able to talk some sense into you

What's wrong with diphthongs? English has about the same number as French does. Also, in Canada, some (hicks) still pronounce "moi" as "mwé" - not quite as old school as "moy," though.
But clearly Arlon doesn't want to learn a language that will enchant the ladies.

In German I I got a 100 even. It was that easy. (of course it all depends on the teaching too.)
