Pulsies looked at Beezel, mentally catloguing his skills and accoutrements. He continued to babble on about Australia. As soon as she reached a decision, she punched him quickly in the nose, hearing a wonderful cracking sound. He dropped to the slimy ground and Puls spent no time relieving him of his anti-venoms, poisons and money.
Looking around, to make sure no one was watching, she reached for her pack and took out a can of beer. She'd been saving it, maybe as a weapon, maybe as a cool refreshing victory beverage. Instead, she cracked it open and poured its contents on the ground, although it was away from Beez's unconscious form.
"For you, Snowball." she whispered. A moment of silence later, she pulled out her phone and began texting.
What is plan B? she asked her contact.
The response?
Amazing.
"Huh. Figures."
Shoving her phone back into her pocket, she then followed the sound of Rogue and Guy, hoping they would lead her back to the surface.

"Sir, our scans indicate that Target Omega continues his steady progress towards HQ," came the technician's voice.
"And Tucker Bag?"
"No sir, we believe Tucker Bag has failed in her pre-programmed mission. She's stopped transmitting. Most likely, she made her move and Target Omega and his allies neutralized her."
"I see," tom said, careful not to let the disappointment show in his voice, "Then let's switch to Battle Plan Waltzing Mathilda."
"Consider it done, sir," the technician confirmed, before ending the call.

Your death scene was my favorite thing to write, if it's any consolation, lexu.

Pulsies had followed the two seemingly immortal goons through a maze of sewers, but she didn't think she was getting any closer to Ender and Dork. She'd lost them. ****.
Now she was going to have to implement the tracking device she'd placed on Ender's shirt. She had to hope he and Dork hadn't stopped somewhere to have the prerequisite stripping scene.
