Do you guys watch MSNBC and Chuck Todd, the numbers guy? He's great. He's focused on the numbers and they are not good for Clinton. She needs something like 172 superdelegates out of 180-something left to pledge.

Yes. Chuck Todd has made if very clear how hard it is for Clinton to get the necessary numbers.

Hillary is also still trying to win the "popular" vote argument. She is trying to win a large majority of the remaining votes in the remaining primaries so that she can argue when you throw in FL and MI to the total, she has the most popular vote.

Which is funny considering Terry MacCauliffe(sp?) spent all weekend talking about you need to win electoral votes in Nov, not the popular vote (because the polls show Obama beating McCain 51% to 44%)

He's been on the ballot in a lot of states since he dropped out. Many states' deadlines for petitions, funds, etc. to get on the ballot are way, way, way in advance of the primary, so this is something he probably did a long time ago, thinking he'd still be in the race. My guess is that WV's deadline was sometime right after New Hampshire after Richardson dropped out and it was down to Obama, Clinton and Edwards.

I can't figure out if Hillary Clinton is actually delusional enough to think she can still take this nomination, or if she is purposely trying to screw over the entire Democratic party for this election.
