The *Official* JCC Body Mod Thread

Welcome to the official JCC thread for all things to body mods. This is to be used for discussing anything and everything TOS friendly in the world of body modification. This includes, but is not limited to the following: - piercings (normal and stretched)
- tattoos
- scarification
- implants
- 'play' piercing
- suspension
Why am I starting this thread? I've started similar threads before, as have others, but they've always died after a brief bit of activity. They were also more specific, either for tattoos or piercings. This thread is for everything and is official so it'll be in the index post. I like tattoos and piercings, so having a thread that covers everything is ideal.
BMEzine has a lot of galleries featuring all of the above, it's well worth a look. The BMEzine modblog is also worth looking at. There are a lot of nice examples as well as some more unusual things. I would link to both, but there are some NSFW pictures on both, they're not hard to find with google though.
Feel free to ask any questions, if I can't answer it someone else might be able to. Pictures and stories are more than welcome, encouraged even, just remember to keep the TOS friendly, posting genital tattoos, for example, is not allowed, no matter how good they are.
A little about myself to get things going. I'm into bod modding in a small way at the moment. I have three piercings in each ear. In my left ear I have nothing in the top hole, the middle hole is stretched to 2.4mm and the bottom hole is currently 4mm but will be 5mm as soon as my new jewellery arrives. In my right ear I have the same as the left ear but with a 1.6mm ring in the top hole. When I get some money I'll start designing my own tattoos and possibly a scar or two.

I have three piercings in my left ear lobe and one piercing in my right ear lobe. I got all of them in high school. They never closed because I usually wear earrings on the weekend.

I had my Tongue pierced 2 times, but took them out, I kept biting the post. I also have a rainbow on my lower back,right above my butt. The first thing people say when they see it is "somewhere over the rainbow".  I guess I asked for that one.

I have three piercings in each ear and my nose is pierced.
I also have one tattoo on my lower left leg. 
A lot of people say that once you get inked, you can't stop. It's been 7 months, and I'm still good with the one. 
Same with piercings. My nose was the last one (10 years ago), mostly due to a messy experience. I had both caffeine and alcohol right before and my blood was a tad thin.

I will admit that getting needles close to my skin frightens me.
I do occasionally get kiddy tattoos of dragons (the kind you have to stick on with warm water) and wear them when I'm going out.
People, you see, cannot tell the difference.
And I look cool!

Oddly enough, it does seem to be more rebellious to not get any piercings or tattoos these days, but it is more sensible than getting it done to be rebellious.

The closest I came to getting a tattoo was drawing the Vulcan IDIC symbol on my arm in high school with an ink pen.
Otherwise, I don't think I'd get a tattoo or do any kind of body modification.

I have three piercings in my earlobes, and am thinking of getting one more. But that would be it. Tatoos and scarifications, as fun as they may seem, outdate after one year.

One year? Where did you come up with that number? I've had my tattoo for over two years now and I'm not tired of it. And I know people who have had tattoos for a decade and still like them.

So, my body has been modified recently. I'm losing my big toenail. Luckily it's not permanent. It's hanging on by like 2mm of skin. Gross.
