I got my new earrings today. The picture:
I got two 6mm flared tunnels, two 1.6mmx19mm ball closure rings with 6mm balls, and two 3mm flared tunnels. 
I got the rings to wear in the larger tunnels and I think they look great. I'll have in-ear photos soon.

I've got four kids, ages 24, 19, 18, and 13. So far the 24 year old has a tattoo, the 19 year old has her belly button and nose pierced (along with her ears) and the 18 year old just got inked. My youngest has informed me that he's already picked out three tattoos.  I've been VERY tempted to go get an tattoo myself, but haven't worked up the nerve quite yet.
Like anything else, I think it's very personal. It's not a uniformly good or bad decision. It's just a decision that's right or wrong for an individual. I do laugh when I remember that my ex-husband has my name tattooed on his leg.

I'm thinking of getting a vertical labret(Or maybe a side labret). I have to talk with my manager though before I make a serious decision. People have tats at work, but I don't know how they feel on piercings(And paying the rent is more important than a piercing). I'm also going to check out a place that got high reviews on Yelp on Tuesday.

Currently, I have two tattoos. I Ching hexagram 4 (Mountain Over Water) on the inside of my left wrist, and a heiroglyphic image of the Egyptian goddess Isis on the right side of my back.
I also have a brand on the right side of my chest. I was branded with the Burning Man symbol by Fakir Musafar in a ceremony at the Temple of Atonement at Burning Man 2002.
My left earlobe has been pierced since I was 16. I used to have a hafada piercing, but it grew out, and after that, I had a Prince Albert, but ... let's just say there was an accident and I no longer have it, though a piece of it may still be floating around inside my body somewhere. Both had been 12-gauge captive bead piercings.
I would love to get another genital piercing. I had been thinking I wanted an apadravya, but I've also considered another PA, a reverse PA, or a frenum ladder.
I would also really like to do a suspension. There was a group of people in San Diego who did it, but I didn't really know them that well, and then it stopped happening anyway.
I also have a bunch of other tattoos I want to get, but they're so damn expensive. Ideally, I would like to be more-or-less covered from neck to toe, with the exception of my hands - basically everywhere that would be covered if I were wearing slacks and a long-sleeve dress shirt.
I honestly thought that's why this thread was upped.
