If the oceans and mountains were left intact after Jason Tyner's home run last year, I feel safe even after Berroa's.

What a night! Ethier goes 5-5 with 5 RBI's, Lowe pitched a hell of a game (8 innings, 2 hits, 0 ER, 4 K's), and the winning streak is now at 6 games in a row..............................but, more importantly, the Dodgers are now only a half game out of first! These next two games against Arizona are the most important of the year.

Manny drives in 5 RBI's today (the first 3 coming off a homer run), Billinglsey pitched great (6 1/3, 4 hits, 0 ER, 9 K's), as the Dodgers win again (7 in row), and in the process reclaim 1st place!

yeah, but things can change in one of the worst divsions of all of sports. By this time next week, if the dodgers falter a bit,it could be either the Diamonbacks-highly unlikely, or even the Rockies in first place, or close enough.
Is the AL west, the only division that's bascially locked up? Almost every other divsion is really close.
Btw, Randy Johnson is scratched from Tomorrow's start. Looks like the dodgers will sweep. And I think Webb's cy young chances are growing dimmer by each start.
and I miss going to Dodger stadium, haven't been there in a few years. I've lived in Arizona for most of my life, so I'm a Diamondback's fan,but I'm also a Dodgers fan as well, my dad and uncle grew up right near the stadium and I was at game 1 of the 88 world series when Gibson hit the home run, one of the best sporting event's I've ever been too. Last year's super bowl is a close second.

Why's this thread so quiet? Top post is from a week ago and we're in September. Just doesn't seem right.

Theres 10 games left in Yankee Stadium, ever. I dont care what team you root for, if you follow the game of baseball, you all know what these last 10 games mean to all of Baseball.
I get chills just thinking about this being the end.
