The Incredible: Dodgers get no hit by Angel pitching last night, and still manage to win the game! I don't think there will be a more crazier win this summer than this for the Dodgers.
The Good: DeWitt's sac fly scoring Kemp (who reached base thanks to an error by Weaver, than stole 2nd & got to 3rd off a throwing error by the catcher) accounting for the sole Dodger run, Billingsley's great start (7 innings, 3 hits, 0 ER/R, 7 K's), Saito notching his 12th save of the year.
The Bad: Not gaining ground on the Diamondbacks (they won last night as well).
The Ugly: None!

Right or wrong, it's in the rule book. Just the same as a pitcher who loses a no-hitter in extra innings doesn't receive any special credit.
CARDS win. cubs lose.
Where are you when the Cubs win and the Cardinals lose? The Cardinals have gained no ground on the Cubs since you last posted and they've lost half a game to the Brewers.

Well they gained a game this time didn't they. And I have been around when the cubs have won and the CARDS lost and had to listen to the sewage talk about how great the cubs are.

The Bad: NONE.
The Ugly: Lowe's good start (7 innings, 5 hits, 1 ER, 7 K's) going down the crapper, ending the game on a Loney groundout with the bases loaded, the "offense" MIA (3 hits, 0 runs), failure to complete the sweep of the evil Angels, failure to gain ground on the lifeless Diamondbacks (they lost as well this afternoon), the Dodgers compeleting Interleague play with a pitiful 5-10 record.

We are at the halfway point of the MLB season.
The Red Sox have the best record in baseball w/50 wins, but yet they are in second place in their division. They lead the AL WC.
The Rays, Angels, and CUBS are tied for the second best record in baseball w/49 wins.
They all lead their division.
The CARDS have the 3rd best record w/47 wins. Pujols, Mulder, and Wellemeyer are back, plus Wainwright and Carpenter will be returning soon, lead the NL WC.
The rest of baseball is at least 2 or more games back of any of these teams, and some of them are division leaders.
Gonna be interesting to see how things end up.

So I just bought a ticket to see the Texas Rangers play the Yankees tomorrow. If I cant see the Rangers play at Shea, then Im definetly going to go see them at Yankee!
