I'm not ready to give up on the Yanks yet.
They have too many good players to not have a run in them.
I can still hope.
I also did something I hate.
I just voted Giambi for the AL even though Evan Longoria is most deserving.
Dammit, I'm being selfish!
I want as many yankees as possible.
Plus, I'm hoping Giambroids does the HR derby since A-Fraud already declined.

Yeah, especially given that huge sample size he has against the Cubs...

Kuk is just nervous. Brewers only down 3.5 Plenty of time to make up that ground.

I thought the whole point of moving the Expos to DC was that they would be moving into a more interested market.
There are some interesting numbers about other teams in the article too: I had no idea Boston had such loyal fans that the Sowx get a 9.75 TV rating. Granted it's a much smaller sample size as opposed to New York and LA, but what's up with the paltry numbers for both LA teams? I know the market is huge, but what else are people watching? Giuseppe Franco infomercials?
And I like the Sabathia trade for both parties. Milwaukee is in it to win it and Cleveland gets some desperately needed offensive prospects that would've had no room on the Brewers anyway.

Last time I saw the MLB thread lit up with B's colors, the Sox and the Cubs were still fighting to get to the Series in 2003.

I'm curious to know: how many of you read/notice/or care (enough) about my Good, Bad, & Ugly Dodger recaps?

QFT.
It's especially annoying when you refer to the Padres as the "Friars".

I'll have to consider now ending my daily updates, as it appears they have been done mostly in vain.

I read them, generally, if often out of amusement.

You'll pardon me, though, if I hope that the one for tonight's game (if you make one) has a nice long "bad" entry

I think the umpire's union should pay for installing the instant replay system out of their own pension fund. So many incompetent calls this year. Or buy some stinkin' glasses.
EDIT: For the record I would not miss any sleep if the Dodger recaps ceased.

I woulda figured AmazingB sported the orange and blue back then.
