Roger McDowell's done a very good job this year, especially with all the injuries... but still, my point remains.
Julian Tavarez?
And as I finish typing this, he finally gets pulled... after getting one out, 2 runs in, 2 still on base.

Oh, I didn't have a question about that. Just the opposite - why Atlanta picked him up.
Oh, and for Tunick...
The Good: Jurrjens' start, Escobar's 3-run double, Brian McCann's 2 homers, including going back-to-back with Teixeira, and Francoeur's return, with a nice outfield assist.
The Bad: None
The Ugly: Julian Tavarez. See above.

The Good: Loney's RBI double in the 6th, Nomarrrrrrrrrrr scoring on a fielder's choice & Loney scoring on a throwing error in the 9th accounting for the Dodger runs last night.
The Bad: Leaving 7 men on base.
The Ugly: Billingsley's start (5 1/3, 6 hits, 6 runs- 5 ER, 4 walks), the Braves hitting 3 home runs in the game, Kemp going 0-5 with 4 strikeouts, losing a half game in the standings to the Diamonbacks (they won last night).
2008: The 50th season of L.A. Dodger baseball!
The Lakers WILL rise again

HARDEN WILL BE A NICE ADDITION. HOPEFULY HE'LL STAY HEALTHY.
FUNNY FACT FROM ESPN
Since May 11, the day Harden came off the disabled list, he's tied for the major league lead in strikeouts, with 77. Guess which pitcher he's tied with?
Sabathia. Of course.
LET THE CHASE BEGIN

I heard Harden strained his elbow picking up his luggage at the airport. Out 10 weeks.

What is it with these freak injuries? Yankee pitchers can't make it around the bases without breaking both legs.

Donnie Baseball to become the next Dodger hitting coach after the All Star break
If he doesn't work out, then McCourt ought to abandon the position for next season, and just let the players figure things out.
