The Good: Loney going 2-3 with 2 RBI's (including a solo homer in the 6th inning), DeWitt's 2 RBI single in the 1st, Ethier's solo homer in the 3rd, Billingsley's great start (8 innings, 6 hits, 2 runs, 5 K's), Saito notching his 14th save of the season, taking 3 out of 4 in the series against Houston, Nomarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (and Jones) returning to the lineup tommorow in San Francisco.
The Bad: Leaving 8 men on base, Young/Maza going 0-4.
The Ugly: Not able to gain more ground on Arizona (they also won this afternoon), Kent having to leave the game in the 5th due to a stiff back.

Yes. But there's no way twisting is as bad as fracturing. Like an ankle only unfathomably worse.
Amazing.
Heh, no argument there.

Um, if you're gonna do these dopey recaps, could you at least elaborate on Arizona's win? Six runs in the bottom of the ninth without recording an out? Milwaukee's meltdown has to be one of the biggest late game ones in a while - I can think of Cleveland's insane rally against Seattle in 2001 when they were down 12-3 in the 7th and the time when the Mets rallied of Curt Schilling way back when in Philly.

It was worse, it was 14-2 (ended 15-14 in 10) and that game kept Seattle from setting the record for wins in a season.
and the time when the Mets rallied of Curt Schilling way back when in Philly.
I still remember where I was during that game, which probably says more about me and my insanity than anything else.
There was also the Mets vs. Cubs last year which I'd have forgotten about except it's like one of four Ulti-Met Classics that SNY airs.
Amazing.

Um, if you're gonna do these dopey recaps,........
If? I've been doing this since last season.
The Good: The offense as a whole (13 hits, 10 runs), Ethier going 3-6 with 3 RBI's (including a solo homer in the 5th-this is the 3rd straight game in which Ethier has homered in), Nomarrrrrrrrrrrrrr going 2-4 with 2 RBI's in his return, Lowe getting the win despite a shaky start (5 innings, 8 hits, 4 ER/1 R, 2 K's), Saito notching his 15th save of the season, taking the 1st game of the series against the Giants, the winning streak now at 4 games in a row, gaining precious ground the D'Backs (their loss propels the Dodgers to be just a half game out of 1st).
The Bad: Leaving 10 men on base, Broxton awful in his inning of "relief" (3 hits, 2 runs, 1 ER).
The Ugly: Jones going 0-5 with 4 strikeouts in his return (obviously not missing a step).

The Good: Ethier going 1-4 with an RBI, Jones getting an RBI with a ground out in the 1st inning (he went 0-4).
The Bad: Park's good start (6 innings, 3 hits, 1 ER, 7 K's) going for naught, Barry Zito striking out 10 Dodgers, leaving 6 men on base.
The Ugly: Losing for the first time in San Francisco, failure to take the division lead (the wonderless Diamondbacks also lost yesterday).

All I'm asking for is a little more elaboration, pal. That wasn't a routine Dbacks win. Did you read my whole sentence?

Amazing.
Neither is something I'd ever want to happen to me, and the fractured testicle I hope never happens to anybody(else). Ow.
The Phillies signed Brad Lidge to a 3-year extension worth $37 million. Meanwhile, Michael Bourn is hitting .222 with a .279 OBP. Yay.

Yes Milwaukee had a meltdown in that game with Arizona. Painfull loss. 3 Game home sweep of Pit, and hopefull signing by Monday makes the pain go away real quick.

I did, but you had already made the point about their comeback, and the only concern I've got about Arizona is how they affect the Dodgers, regardless of how they won or lost their game (unless it's via no-hitter or perfect game).
The Good: Loney going 2-4 with 3 RBI's, Kemp going 1-4 with an RBI, Ethier going 3-4 with an RBI, Saito notching his 16th save of the season, taking 2 out of the 3 games in San Francisco, keeping pace with Diamondbacks.*
The Bad: Stults (4 innings, 7 hits, 2 runs/1 ER, 4 K's) not pitching good enough for the win, leaving 6 men on base.
The Ugly: *=Arizona also winning this afternoon, thus preventing the Dodgers from moving into first place, the Brewers getting C.C. Sabathia (Dodgers need another starter).

Silver lining is Milwaukee gives up their top prospect for a half season rental. Other than that, meh.

But if he does sign elsewhere, they'll get a first round and a conditional draft pick.

Congrats, gersh. Here's to hoping C.C. doesn't choke for you if the Brewers make it to the postseason.
You owe me a beer for this.
8 game losing streak. 14 out of first. lol@Cleveland.
Did catch the Yanks/BoSox game on Fox Saturday afternoon. Quite good, as the Sawx almost made a game of it in the 9th. Looks like Vin's team is showing signs of life.
C-town on the other hand, someone get the ******* coroner over here to pronounce them dead.
