To many of you people are acting like this movie should have been the second coming of Christ. I haven't seen it yet, so I can't say whether I'll personally like it or not, but it's pretty easy to see that a lot of you had your expectations set waaaaay to high for this film. Unless it's like AOTC bad, I'm sure I'll be satisfied with the end result.

He doesn't like to shoot with digital cameras. That doesn't mean the movie can't be shown on a digital projector.

I always thought it extended to the presentation, one that should retain the filmy feel, too - which ought to be the whole point of shooting it one way or another. But hey, I'm not complaining.

There's advantages to both methods. Shooting digitally oftentimes helps make things faster. I think Sidney Lumet said something about how he'd never have been able to make Before the Devil Knows You're Dead without digital cameras, as fast and cheaply as he did. Digital projection offers some innate advantages that I don't believe the industry is taking advantage of just yet; eventually they should be able to save millions once they no longer have to ship thousands of film reels all over the world.
