Wrong. Ocho Cinco (it's his legal surname now) makes little difference. They have enough talent on offense to get by without him; however, if the defense sucks again, the running game sucks again, AND Ocho Cinco misses the whole season then they might lose 14 or 15 games.
On the other hand, if the defense is even just mediocre (like ranked 15-20 overall), and the running game gets back to its '05 form then the Bengals will challenge for a playoff spot whether Ocho Cinco plays, pouts, or drops dead from terminal ego-encephalitis.

Ocho Cinco should just race a horse again or audition for the Wesley Snipes role for Demolition Man 2.
But, I wouldn't mind if he puts up some butt kicking numbers, because I have him in one of my Fantasy Leagues. But Carlson Palmer is my favorite Bengal right now because of his crack on Ohio State in the Buckeye state. That was golden.
I think the Falcons will have a worse record than the Bengals and the first overall pick will go to them. They just look bad.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the fact that Adam Jones has been fully reinstated to the NFL and is eligible to make his first offical start as a Cowboy in Week One vs the Browns.

I'm afraid his only shot is on the practice squad. Ryan Fitzpatrick has starting experience in the NFL, and Jeff Rowe is a draft pick from last year - both played solidly during the preseason. I really hope they keep Jordan Palmer too. Who knows to what loft heights Carson could motivate him; however, I can't see the Bengals cutting Fitzpatrick or Rowe instead of Palmer for that reason alone.

I think to anyone paying attention, it was a pretty forgone conclusion that it was going to happen. He lived up to the stipulations of his suspension, and I'd have thought the first hint he'd be reinstated, as long as he kept his nose clean, would have been when he was allowed to join the Cowboys in training camp and play in the pre-season games.
