Cowboys will be lucky to finish 3rd in the NFC East this year. Romo is over-rated and Jones gave him that contract too soon. He is going to grow to regret it.

The NFC East is going to be a race between Giants and the much improved Eagles.

The ESPN talking heads think the Cowboys are the team to beat in the NFC and the Giants probably won't even make the NFC Championship game as the last four years would indicate, which none of the teams have made it back there the following year. But, if history is also correct, this is when the Son of Bum Philips starts his decline in coaching.

The NFLN is reporting that the Saints have contacted the Rams about moving up to the #2 pick. Could the Saints be targeting a new QB? Just kidding, it's gotta be for Glen Dorsey.

I wonder how this Cowboy team will respond to last year's letdown.
We'll end up with Pacman, and his posse. They can just throw dollar bills at the other teams, and then beat them up before the game.

Here's a proposal for a new stadium in Los Angeles. They said if a team commits to moving there this year, they can start construction and have it ready for 2011. There's supposed to be a press conference today.

HEY angry Do not send that link to Tom Benson.

ProFootballTalk.com speculated that the most likely teams for L.A. are the Vikings, Chargers, the Bills, and the Jaguars.

On an unrelated note, Steve McNair is retiring

lol.
The brother is better.
But does it really matter since no one seems to have NFL Network?

I personally like how the grassy hill rises up the side of the stadium.

And that list for a move to LA sounds like the one I've been hearing for a while, with the addition of Jax.

I'd love for the Jags to move. They don't have a long history with the city and seem to not have the best fan support either.

Anyone but the Saints

I think it makes a lot of sense for the Jaguars to move. The market is not strong at all, and can easily be absorbed by the Buccaneers and Falcons.

Old news, I saw that on a CNN crawl last Friday. Wondered how long it would take for Gumbel to throw a fit and quit.

Steve McNair and Brett Farve in the HOF class of 2013...

On a related note the Packers will retire Brett Farve's jersey at their first home game which happens to be the first Monday Night Football game of the season.

ESPN must be loving the ratings possiblities right now.
