Yeah, their consensus was that Larry Allen would be left out mainly b/c he played guard.

Larry Allen was a way better player than Sapp. I never saw Sapp as a dominate player. Larry Allen was a dominate player.

If I ever go to a Chiefs game, I'm going to tattle on someone in the first row, whether they were standing or not, so I can take their seat.

Dude, it's not the Chiefs, it's some old lady you should be mad at! I predict this will be swiftly overturned, because no way would the Chiefs want their fans to do that.
But even if it's not, it really doesn't matter. They've been having announcements telling people to refrain from prolonged standing at the beginning of every game for as long as I can remember. And guess what? Everyone stands. As in, no one sits down. At all. Except club level people but they don't count as fans.
Seriously, this doesn't worry me because it's so laughable. It's completely unenforceable. They're not going to be able to or want to make fans sit down. What, are 10 guys who text in complaints going to face up to the other 79,000 fans who are standing? Are they gonna throw the entire ground level out of the game?
I'm gonna guess this old lady has never actually been to a game at Arrowhead. It's not the loudest outdoor stadium in the NFL for nothing. There's no way that's gonna change because a new version of the old 'courtesy rules' we've been given forever is put out there.
EDIT: ok, here's the complete list of things you're not supposed to do.
• Foul, obscene, offensive or abusive language or actions
• Excessive standing and/or obstructing the view of other fans
• Intoxication or other signs of impairment
• Smoking except in designated areas
• Fighting and unruly or inconsiderate behavior
• Obscene or indecent clothing or signs
• Conduct that endangers spectators or participants
• Harassment of visiting team fans
• Interfering with the progress of the game, going onto the field or
throwing any object onto the field
• Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel
• Selling items or tickets in the stadium or on sports complex grounds
• Attempting to sit in a location other than the guest’s ticketed seat
• Destroying property
Frankly I don't know why this guy is blogging about this. He clearly doesn't understand that these same rule have been in effect forever. And the standing one is just laughed at. It's almost impossible to obstruct someone's view at Arrowhead. It's an extremely well-designed stadium and doesn't have obstructed view seats.
The only thing different is you can text complaints. Which is actually a good idea. But no one who complains about standing is going to get taken seriously.

It makes sense to be able to notify fan assistance more easily. Obviously sometimes you need to because there's an occasional jackass (usually a Raiders fan) at the game. But if you try to report that everyone in front of you is standing to them, it would be like reporting you saw someone jaywalking to the cops. No one's going to give a crap.

Yes, but they ended it when too many of their players got called in about.
