Facebook gripes

It bothers me when people chose to form incorrect sentences in their facebook status, when it'd be really easy to do it. And I don't mean that they make a grammatical mistake - that I'm willing to pass, because I do it all the time. I mean when they don't even try. We don't need the 'is' anymore, so stop pretending like you do!
Case in point: one of my friends' status right now is [John Doe] is welcome home, Susie!!
Really now? How difficult would it be to say [John Doe] welcomes Susie home! or if you insist on the is, then [John Doe] is welcoming Susie home!
This isn't a stupid person - they graduated from a good school and everything. So why can't they at least pretend to form a real sentence?
It pisses me off, so it does.

Facebook hasn't done anything lately to irritate me very much. Supposedly there is going to be a site redesign soon, and usually whenever they redesign something it is stupid, so I'm sure I will be bothered by that.
The only thing people do on facebook that bothers me is invite me to stupid applications. I hate almost all applications and I hate when people send me an invite to one.

I unfriended a girl I used to work with because she would invite me to 300,000 applications every day. But now that you can block invites from people, I re-friended her

His flaw is still keeping the "is". Usually on my facebook status its [Spike]: is on Facebook which is decently grammatically correct

Seriously, I poke only two people, because they poked me first. I try not to bug people with too many of the quizzes or hugs, either.
