Is there any way to make ones conversations private of facebook? cause I don't really like the fact other people can read what I've said to a person

Are you talking about wall posts?
You can alter your settings so only certain people can see your wall, however, you have no control over the walls of other people. If you want a message to be private, send them a private message or an email instead of posting it in a public space. I don't believe there is a way to prevent your posts on other walls from being visible. If there is I don't know how.

My latest facebook gripe is that people keep posting status messages that make me jealous.
Right now I've got:
"Persons Name is getting ready to go to Burning Man." I'd do that. That'd be a grand old adventure right there.
"Such and Such is going to a Devil Town. Such and Such will be in Austin, Texas for the next week and a half." - I'd go on a roadtrip like that. I could have gotten on this one, too, but my current monetary situation would have made it rather disastrous.
"Nameo McName's life probably couldn't get any better than it is right now. I love it." Well, that must just be really swell.
"Person McPerson is glad to be back at work." - Work, that'd be nice!
"Zargor Zaggerzon is excited to be heading back to campus!" - I want to be back at college, too.
"Friendo Frienderson is Obama/Biden!" - I wish I had supernatural powers to turn into Obama/Biden.
What a bunch of shenanigans going on in these status messages. Grr.
My other facebook gripe is that I still dread the day that "new facebook" becomes permanent and required, because it's still the ugliest alteration to a website ever created.

I have quite a few gripes with Facebook. I've documented them in a series of notes, over the past couple of years, simply titled Facebook Rants.
