The Christian Bible says that God only created life on Earth. I'm not Catholic, I'm Protestant (Baptist). But I'm guessing that's what the Catholics believe as well.

IIRC, according to Catholic doctrine, God created the heavens and the earth. I would assume that this means that God created any alien race that might exist. I'm in no position to state that as fact, hence why I'm saying it is an assumption, but being a Catholic and being in Catholic schools all my life, that's what I've come to understand.

No, we believe God created every single particle in existence. It's the only way that God can be the supreme being.

If you have any questions about Christianity and/or Jesus, I'd love to talk to you. Please PM me. "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved!" Acts 16:31 ------ Yes, I am a sinner. So are you. We all have a Savior.

Why not? Most great physicists believed in God, like Max Planck, for example. Science and faith really don't contradict each other if you think about it properly.

"The Bible "is not a science book," Funes said, adding that he believes the Big Bang theory is the most "reasonable" explanation for the creation of the universe...But he said he continues to believe that "God is the creator of the universe and that we are not the result of chance."
- Well, I do find it interesting (and encouraging) that many are finally beginning to accept scientific explanations for natural events and processes.
- But I really really really hate how people try to use the word "chance" to describe the entire evolutionary process. It's either incredibly dishonest or ignorant.
"Just as we consider earthly creatures as 'a brother,' and 'sister,' why should we not talk about an 'extraterrestrial brother'? It would still be part of creation."
- Hmm, so I wonder how long it will be before the Church starts sending missionaries to preach to these possible brothers and sisters.

Because there are no story-book romances, no fairy-tale endings. So before you run out and change the world, ask yourself, "What do you really want?" Because life... is not a movie. Everyone lies. Good guys lose. And love... does not conquer all.

Personally, I think that it's very pretentious and selfish to think that we are the only living creatures in this or any other universe.
If God created the heavens, who are any one of us to question her wisdom? It's quite possible there are beings way more advanced than us, scriptures that they follow, societies that are more civilized or barbaric, etc. Perhaps God wants us to find each other when we're mentally ready as a people.
And no, I don't do the pot.
