eh, well it is and it isn't. it's about changing the definition of marriage and who is allowed to. i think that if same sex couples can get married, multiple people should be able to as well. i also think that if there is any combination of adults who are committed to each other for life, they should be able to join the marriage deal too, regardless of whether their relationship is sexual/romantic, or platonic/friendship/familial love.

I am confused as to why you think gay marriage shouldn't be allowed, since you are now saying you think anybody should be able to get married. Seems a little contradictory to me.

as i said, if gay, then everybody. then i feel it's fair. i also tend to be lazy-minded, so my first instincts are just to say:   "awww it's so much less complicated legally to just leave it the way it is". yeah, i know, that's pretty cruel of me.

legally, i guess, since i think it's still illegal in california and other states
also-- since it's changing, i think too it's unfair to have to base it on a sexual relationship
