Anyone watch this show?

I got some flashbacks today. When I was a kid I watched this show that I now believe was an anime. The main character and I think four others had this power they could activate that would give them like some gear(one guy's was orange, one blue, main character's was red) and then the next level of their power which gave them like a more elaborate armor. Then they could combine power captain planet style and the main character's elaborate armor would be white and he'd kick ass. Anyone watch this show as a young'n? What is it?

Good show, even though it was watered down for U.S. audiences. Tekkaman suffered the same fate as "Tekno-Man."
