Or rather, Christmas come late. I moved back in with my parents last night and today they finally gave me my Christmas present. They couldn't get it in time for Christmas or Easter but they managed to get it in the end, and I got it today. 
It's the Lego TIE Interceptor. 
Latest Christmas present ever, but it's so worth the wait.

How to make your own post-ANH Death Star set:
1) Take a big bag of old Legos
2) Set it on fire with a blowtorch
3) Put the fire out by forcefully and repeatedly smashing it with a couch
4) Pile what's left on a table and display it with tiny little X-wings hanging on strings over it
